I don't have a study in my hand, but I could state a supporting idea. The fact that the Iranian government does practically deprive non-Persians from using their own native languages in formal education, newspapers, radio channels, TV channels is a significant thing. This is an official disadvantageous government treatment for non-Persians. Also, there is this general thought among Persians that showing pride in Persian heritage is always welcomed (if not encouraged).
The same cannot be said about showing any distinctive peculiarity (let alone pride) in non-Persian heritage aspects (such as language, poetry, history, any previous independent or autonomous rule of non-Persians inside Iran). This is usually frowned upon as separatism, or a direct cause for separatism that must not be tolerated.
