The importance of Navy in this age

.
The fact remains Pakistan's largest metropolis and population centre Karachi lies on the coast. I can't believe 15 years ago many thought a few submarines and coastal missile batteries would suffice to defend the area.

I'm glad back in 2003 we kicked off an information campaign to enlarge and strengthen the navy many fold. During the course of our discussions I am convinced higher ups who read the website must have taken note, and seen the grave dangers that lied ahead.

Now we have the Typ54Ap's, Pak Milgems and submarines coming, and the kicking off the Jinnah class program to further strengthen the fleet .
By the end of all the inductions Pakistan will have a fine navy.

Even current Navy is not enough. We need much much bigger Navy. We need a Navy which is fully capable to go on offence rather on being defense.

Brother 4 F22's, 4 Type54AP's, 4 Pak Milgems, 6 Jinnah heavy frigate future program, 8 Yuan Submarines, 3 Agosta 90B's.
That's a strong fleet, you only need to look at navies around the world to how it compares favourably.
