The Forgotten Chunk of Pakistan-Junagarh

Yes.
The Partition of the Subcontinent was premised on a religion-based divide. Pakistan's claim to Junagadh and Hyderabad Deccan would make Pakistan's position on Kashmir weaker. It was not the right of any Maharaja or Nawab to decide the fate of millions of people--neither in Kashmir nor in Junagadh. It had to be based on the will of the people expressed through free and fair elections, as was done in most of the rest of the Subcontinent. But Junagadh is a good example to expose the hypocrisy of an expansionist India.
No it wouldn't...
Pakistan SHOULD bring up the case of Junagadh bcuz it mirrors Kashmir with exactly the OPPOSITE circumstances.

- Junagadh(Hindu majority) Muslim ruler acceded to Pakistan
--> India invaded and the invading party held plebiscite NOT RECOGNIZING accession to Pakistan.
- Kashmir(Muslim majority) Hindu ruler acceded to India
--> Pakistan invaded and the invading party SHOULD hold the plebiscite NOT RECOGNIZING the accession to India.

If instrument of accession is to be used as the standard...then India has to give up Junagadh...
...can't milk it both ways...that's hypocrisy and this hypocrisy should be shown to the world.
