The Five Most-Powerful Navies on the Planet

US DOD report presented to congress shows China has ~500 ships including auxilaries, suport ships, coastal defense vessels etc. So in terms of tonnage and fire power USN still reins supreme. However in terms of number of ships China edges over all.
Also in EU, French Navy is superior to the royal navy.

Tonnage means nothing. 1 J-20 firing 1 YJ-12 would sink a carrier. Look what happened at Falklands. 1 Exocet sunk a British destroyer. YJ-12 packs many times the punch of Exocet. 1 hit on the ammo depot and a carrier goes bye bye. Naval power is determined by air power, not by tonnage.

Hell yeah @Superboy, if only the carrier just bring their hull but hey they bring dozens hornets and each hornets can bring air launched harpoon in enough numbers to sink any Chinese destroyer

Hornets won't even get close to a Chinese destroyer. Hornets would all fall prey to J-20s which have ramjet powered PL-21 air to air missiles.

hey kiddo, you must be high right now

Which J-20 has been operational and functional now? tell me? which squadrons has operating them?

without air wing capable to operate in high seas by means of Aircraft carrier, PLAN is much not capable to challenging US Navy any time

He is always high

J-20 is very close to serial production. Proto 2015 has flown. This year proto 2016 flies and then it's serial production. There are 7 protos in total. JF-17 had at most 6 protos.

J-20 has combat radius of over 3,000 km with aerial refueling. YJ-12 has strike range 400 km. That gives J-20 a strike range of over 3,400 km.

Kiddo, you must be high again and again

J-20 is neither in serial production nor their performance in flight testing had been accepted by PLAAF as we can see their increasing number of testing specimen's, and right now we are talking about Aircraft who fly from an aircraft carrier like Hornet/Super Hornet or F-35B who can give air cover for any Naval fleets in high seas not some Air Superiority fighter such as F-22 or F-15 series who usually put in land base. F-35 and Super Hornet in which had or still in production (Low rate initial production for F-35's), they had been tested in some degree, matured in technology, and we know where their flaws lies and mostly had been corrected and all of them had capability to carry and launching Long range Stand off missile such JASSM, JAGM, LRASM and all of those missiles will put a shame into your taunted J-20 with YJ-12.

J-20 is very close to serial production. J-10 first flew in 1998 and serial production in 2003. J-20 first flew in 2011 and serial production in 2016.

F-35B won't get IOC till 2017 at the earliest because of software issues.

You underestimate YJ-12. YJ-12 is ramjet powered, 400 km range, Mach 4+ speed, the world's deadliest anti ship missile.

You should learn to be less stubborn, and accept correction as a form of disciplinary grace.

I speak facts. J-20 dominates the skies and the surface of the seas. Like it or not, this is fact. No aircraft, no ship can survive an encounter with J-20.
