The Federation, officially the Federation of the Americas (Spanish: Federación de las Américas), is a political, economic, and military union of South American, Central American, and Caribbean nations that has risen to power in the alternate timeline of Call of Duty: Ghosts, where it serves as the game's primary antagonist. The Federation's capital is Caracas, Venezuela.
Equipment and Arsenal
As the rise of their power grew in the early years of its creation, the Federation's military expanded in terms of weaponary and equipment which made them formidable for the once dominant US military. Their arsenal of weaponary come from weapons manufacturers of Russia, NATO, China, as well as from their founding states Brazil. Appearance wise, Federation troops look like a well uniformed streamline opponent to the beligered US forces wearing combat shirts and combat pants in different camouflage patterns (either in urban, woodland, snow colored, navy and all-black camouflage). All Federation soldiers also are equipped with military-grade protective plate carriers and kevlar helmets (many with ballistic face shields attached to rail adaptors on the sides of the helmets). Some Federation soldiers wear Red Berets instead. Weapons: ARX-160 MTAR-X SC-2010 Remington R5 Vector CRB VBR FAD AK-12 SA-805 K7 CBJ-MS LSAT MP-443 Grach Oerlikon Skyshield. Vehicles: Iveco LMV NH90 Y-8 T-90AM BTR-80A Zubr Mi-24 SuperHind Mi-28N Eurocopter EC-635 MiG-29 Aegis Combat Prototype Destroyer [The ship was a combination of a trimaran-type Littoral Combat Ship (LCS), and an Arleigh Burke Class (AEGIS) Destroyer of the United States Navy.]

The Greater Korean Republic is a unified superstate of North and South Korea formed in 2015. The nation follows a combination of Juche ideology and Korean nationalism and became the dominant nation in East Asia, and absorbing Japan, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Brunei, Laos, Singapore and Burma into its sphere of influence, slowy achieving global economic and military supremacy. At the beginning of 2025, the GKR declared war on the United States and occupied the western half of America.
Greater Korean Republic Army: By 2015, Kim Jong-un, as the increasingly popular President of the GKR, made great strides in modernizing the KPA, replacing and scrapping most of the Soviet-era ordnance and upgrading the Army's training in an accelerated program.[2] The military was also commonly armed with American-made weapons and vehicles, resulting from its integration with the South Korean military, also utilizing advanced weapons purchased from the Chinese and Russian militaries, including attack helicopters and MBTs. By 2017, the KPA was outfitted with trained special operation teams and was supposedly made as a worldwide peacekeeping force
Weapons and Equipment
Soldiers of the KPA wear desert camouflaged uniforms and helmets with a beige bulletproof vest and a red handkerchiefs covering their mouths and noses. Their scouts wear red beanies instead of helmets. Where as the KPA Police wore outfits similar to the US SWAT team, with the scout wore lighter armor and a red beret instead of a helmet. Snipers on the other hand wear ghillie suits above their uniforms. The KPA has numerous standard issue weapons, but many of them are American made such as the M4 rifle (presumable captured weapons or chinese copies such as the CQ type A ) but also the M16 assault rifle, the M249 machine gun , the M9 pistol, the PWS Diablo compact assault rifle (but classed as a SMG in the game), the ACR assault rifle , the SCAR-L assault rifle, the SCAR-H in a machinegun configuration and the Kriss super V submachine gun, few others being made elsewhere, such as the T3AK (actually a chinese QBZ-03 rifle). They have access to numerous drones and vehicles as well, including Helicopters, Tanks, Armoured Personal Carriers, and Humvees. Their Helicopters include the Z-10 Chimera, AH-700, and the UH-60; Their Main Battle Tank is the T-99; Su-47 Fighter. Type 90 AA gun and their Main APC is the LAV-25. Their drones include the Goliath, RQ-10 Parrot, AQ-11 Buzzard, MQ50 MG Wolveine, the MQ-60 AT Rhino, and the autonomous Sentry Gun Tower. It is a semi-autonomous Sentry tower drone that uses a 20-mm autocannon, as a defensive weapon
