No mercy?

The elimination of Indians from the Afghanistan theater would at least halfen our fight against terrorism. I'm guessing it would be easy pickings and if we don't chase them out, they'd never leave.

Would it mean thereby that the Pak - Afghan border in particular & Pak - Afghan relations in general were all " milk & honey" before the consulates ?

Easy picking ? ... chase them out.. ?

Right now Pak has more than its hands full trying to keep afloat, keeping the next mortgage repayment deadline, handling the next predator, securing water, avoiding / handling the next coup.

When has anything been "easy picking' for Pak ?

Monthly bombings don't help our mortgage payments either.

Afghanistan is neutered. We can afford bad relations with them as long as India doesn't butt in.

We'll have a chance. India will have a chance too. Without the Americans to supervise their every move they'll try to entrench and dig in deeper. Without the Americans around to raise holly hell about us destroying a handful of consulates we'll have a chance too. Ultimately the situation can be made too hostile for Indians to covertly operate in.

But where is Uncle Sam going .. not in the foreseeable future.

Destroy a few consulates... C'mon. Give ur self a break.

Just thinking out loud.

Uncle Sam might leave us with a Talibian problem to deal with.

I can't see what the Indian Govt can do if Bangladesh allows it after all its a sovereign country ? The Indians are there in Aghanistan and are doing some good work and the Nato forces recognise that. Its just bad the situation is not stable in Pakistan financially as well as politically.

GOP should take its case to the UN if it has proof. It has never done it. All i have seen is some unconfirmed reports. PM Zardari also says India is no longer a threat and so he knows better than you.

That area has been lawless since Pakistan became independent and a few consulates cannot do any damage. Afghanistan is independant country and it can allow as many consulates as it thinks are right just as Pakistan can.

Please get out of the mentality of treating Afghanis with lesser intelligence as they need to be friends with Pakistan for security reasons and Indians for Economic reasons and know what is good for them.

Regards

Arrested militants name RAW for funding

Arrested militants name RAW for funding ISLAMABAD: The three arrested members of a militants’ gang especially deputed by Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan have disclosed that RAW has been funding suicide bomb attacks in Pakistan and that the Indian agency has funneled Rs 680 million through its links with the Afghan secret agency.

The gang of three persons have brazenly admitted that they belong to the group of persons who had been deputed to ‘destabilise democratic Pakistan’ with the sole purpose of ‘enforcement of Shariah’ in the country.

Operators of an intelligence agency, working beyond the call of their duty, came into contact with a source ready for a tip-off against a reward and led to the arrest of Khurram Ishtiaq, Ghulam Mustafa and Shamim. The persons had been working under Qari Hussain, second-in-command to Baitullah Mehsud. All the three had been arrested on Aug 13 this year while they were on the prowl for a target. The militants had been arrested ‘red-handed’ as they possessed complete suicide kits, including two jackets and 70kg of explosives and detonators.

The accused were hardened militants and took a lot of time to break in and make confessions. They revealed that Qari Hussain had been working to help three adjutants—Farukh Usman alias Shahjee, Tayyab alias Baba; Ustad, the trainer to destabilise democratic government.

Asim, you seem to seriously overestimate your capability and severely underestimate what India would do to you if you try acting on the foolish ideas being suggested.

Indian SU-30s are just 20 mins from anywhere in Pakitsan and there is nothing to stop them from doing what they would like to!
