I have met many. And, I have also chosen not to meet many powerful & famous personalities despite having the opportunities to do so. What's the big deal about meeting them. Life goes on. The only people I would wish to meet would be Islamic Scholars.

I don't have one. I just listen to any learnt scholar I come across. Dr Israr Ahmad among others are some great people.

I once attended an event where Musharraf and a number of his ministers were present. The venue was small, so I saw them up close, and met a number of them, including Shaukat Aziz.

After Musharraf's speech, the event ended and most people left. I went up to the stage and found a piece of paper on which Musharraf had scribbled some notes while taking questions. I still have that sheet, and have often thought of getting the handwriting analysed to get some insight into his personality.

I have met some lesser known Bollywood characters such as Late Farooq Shaikh. Also a ton of pseudo Bollywood celebrities - I don't consider them worth including here.
I have seen a lot of them in concerts and events as my work is connected to the entertainment industry and events.

Sachin Tendulkar
Shoaib Akhtar
Jelena Dokic (tennis)
Yelena Isinbayeva (pole vault)

Politicians
Rahul Gandhi
Sonia Gandhi
also some BJP politicians

I would like to meet Mr. Imran Khan.

• Mohammed Ali Shehki, Osman Pirzada, Qazi Wajid, and Sheema Kirmani - when I was a kid. Qazi Wajid was very warm and friendly.
• Also knew Ahmet Davutoglu well. He is the former FM of Turkey under Erdogan

I sat in a meeting room with Ahsan Iqbal, with only about 3 or 4 other people. I found him to be decent, thoughtful, and sincere.

I am not a PMLN supporter, and I find it unfortunate that politics changes people the way it does.

As I said in a earlier post I volunteered my self for some cause in civil hospital khi and it was my and my friends routine to walk from civil hospital to sabir Nihari restaurant for late night dinners, one day we saw Allan faqir sitting on a road side bench (phata) near the devasted park in front of sabir nehari restaurant, he was surrounded by many other faqir and begger type drug addict people who gather there to begg and have free food, it quite surprised us all ,as I can speak good Sindhi I interacted with Allan faqir for few minutes in Sindhi , he was very simple and down to earth person but unfortunately a drug addict too , he was smoking charrs at that time and a man was massaging oil in his head, I said Faqeer why are you sitting with these people he Said bacha ye hamari purani sangat Hain main Radio Pakistan (which was near by ) pay ata tha tu insy tauluk ho gaya , ab inky pass ata hu tu Kussh bhi lga leta hu our khana bhi mufat ka mil jata hy, the touchy part of this brief meeting was that in which conditions and poverty our most of local folk legendary performers live, and yet they don't complain, how simple and greed free these people were, may Allah Swt give him highest place in Jannah, ameen
