It's a good summary, but it is leaving out the parts where the U.S. and allies contributed to the destabilization of these sates via supplying and training rebel groups that eventually turned into larger militant groups we see today.
Living under a dictatorial ruler is better than living in constant fear of being killed every time you step outside your house for groceries.
The video should have included this bit and added that by interfering in other country's stability, it is their responsibility to face the consequences.
