China is by far the largest market of electric vehicles. Several factors contribute to the wide use of EVs, such as the build-up of infrastructures such as charging stations and the technological advancement in battery technology which China has the lead in many fields, which ultimately contribute to the unbeatable affordability of EVs in China.
Chinese EV makers now produce full range of EVs from the very economical ones to the very high-end ones.
Chinese EV makers makes very high-end EVs like NIO ES Series, BYD Han, XPeng P7, or Hongqi ES9, etc.
But here we mainly present some cost-effective EVs from Chinese carmakers, which are the main driving force toward an environmentally friendly society, and one thing we should note here is the subsidies for EVs account for very little fraction of the price today, so the era of EV is indeed coming soon:

I hope we too get some manufacturing facilities with the help of Chinese EV OEMs for local production and local availability of Chinese cars which are same quality as Japanese/European cars but at less than half the cost.
Its not that easy. Most advance EV car maker factory employ very little manpower. More than 80% manufacturing are by robots. Human factor cost very little in the pricing of EV. It got to do with your country infrastructure, industrialisation level and supply chain.

Look at this video and u will understand. See after 1.55mins

.
Yes Bro, we have the high-end EVs too:
NIO ES8
NIO ES6
NIO EC6

Every one of such factory can generate a profit of more than 1,000 sweatshops in vn, so that Mr.Viet @Viet have to post 1,000 articles bout shoe/bra/underwear makers coming to vn if we post one such vedio here...However, although Mr.Viet works very very hard and post like 2 or 3 posts about sweatshop coming to vn every day, it is not enough and he still has to do a better job... :cheesy:

China's electric vehicles are on the rise :coffee: :china:
China will probably be the first large country to become fully electrical just like our cashless payment, as the price of EVs before subsidy today in China are even cheaper than gasoline cars in a lot of countries. The next step is to further complete the infrastructure of charging stations/piles, etc. And within 2 decades, gasoline cars will become a thing of the past just like the roll film from Kodak.

Yes, China has no advantage in gasoline engines, but China can be said to be the leader in electric vehicles

Exactly, although mainstream Chinese car companies such as Chery, Greatwall and Changan, etc did the fast catch-up and now make decent or even pretty advanced powertrains, that is not our advantage for sure:
Thus, I don't think they should pouring in too much R&D effort into a sunset industry, instead, they should focus more on EVs, auto-driving, etc. to prepare for the not too distant future.

Yes, the Chinese government’s policy is to gradually replace gasoline vehicles with new energy electric vehicles to reduce carbon emissions. In addition, for electric vehicles, autonomous driving is the future trend.

Autonomous driving is another area we are gonna lead, boosted by our fast deployment of 5G network because: no true autonomous driving can be achieved without 5G:

I can launch an assembly plant with knock-down kits in 2-3 months easily.

An LSEV line cost $2M turnkey
