Waise, salute to those who still not only believe in Imran Khan and PTI but also actively advocate for him.
He has done exactly what PPP/PML was doing be it IMF, Loans (Saudi Arabia, China, UAE, Turkey, IMF), subsidies to the powerful, posting of friends and relatives of friends to important ministries and positions and landing of scandal after scandal from police to bureaucracy etc.
In addition, unnecessary devaluation of currency (which alone is responsible for atleast 60% of inflation), increase in taxes on all utilities and incomes, raising of interest rates and overall anti-business and anti-commerce policies all across the board, slowing down of CPEC and development overall etc. Remember the explanation on how to recognize a thief if the utility is getting more expensive, if the taxes are being increased, if the rate of USD increases etc.? So who is the thief today?
All the above I could digest under the so called corrupt Governments of PPP and PML, but wasn't the promise of the Holy Government a better living standard, ease of life, lowering of taxes and duties, lowering of utility costs, lowering of interest rates and lowering of the exchange rate of USD etc., in addition there was talk of never going to IMF, to break the begging bowl, to not give any subsidy (especially to the powerful), to never giving amnesty and to go after those who benefited from amnesty in the past government and so on and on and on?
And the way to do all that was to stop corruption, we were told that we could save over USD 10 Billion a year merely by stopping corruption.......so, where is that USD 10 Billion? We were told that 200 Billion USD would be recovered within the first 100 days.......where are we on this? 10 Million jobs would be created......have the policies not resulted in loss of 10+ Million jobs already?
And the only thing that they keep on repeating, and will keep on repeating until they are uprooted and sent packing, is that the previous Government left us in this state with all the loans they borrowed, as if the PPP Government had left a bed of roses for PML and as if the PML was unable to cope with the same process, effectively and efficiently. And all this while PML had to face an extremely hostile judiciary and establishment whereas both the establishment and judiciary are extending all the support they can to PTI Government..........and yet we are in this financial predicament.
So, once again, salute to those who are still actively speaking in favor of the 'superb' policies of the PTI Government.
