That is the height of stupidity. Soldiers are humans, even if they can sit their for 10 years at a time, doesn't mean they should. Rotating soldiers ever 48 hours allows them time to rest and relax, keeping morale high.

If this guy is a sitting general, India should look into immediately firing him, considering he's putting his own troops under unnecessary risk and stress, harming their combat readiness.

Why China rotates her troops? because she can, and this helps large number of troops get used to the border conditions, while for India, once they put their soldiers there, it's hard to take them back and they are just left to their own devices

How long do you think he can stay at the Front during WAR TIME ? How soon before his moral breaks down completely and he runs away or fires on his commanding officer who is forcing him to stay there ?

During WAR how many times can you "rotate" shifts ?

Indian army and its soldiers and BUILT and TRAINED FOR WAR.

PLA is built for Marching on city streets in comfortable paved roads and public toilets.

There is a difference between being able to stay and having to stay, besides,in 1962 all the PLA troops were moved from the east, very few soldiers had any experience in fighting on high plateau, but it didn't stop PLA from routing Indians.
