The daring couple!

Both Indian and Pakistan army have female officers...

And your point?

... and there's nothing wrong if peers in any institution get engaged.

LOL, what?! :woot: I thought people are discussing the lack of professionalism in dating one's trainees while on duty. How did the topic change to "Is getting engaged with peers in the same institution wrong?" Are we still on the same page guys??

Happens all the time, please grow up and get a date or something.

Telling such things to people you don't know exposes your own insecurities. =)

Why don't you read the news before acting all wise, they are peers who work in different army department not trainer, trainee.

Yeah may be I'm insecure or you guys not reading the news but commenting just noticing a happy couple.

The Daily Star said:
Special warfare wing of the commando battalion at the School of Infantry & Tactics (SI &T) at the Jalalabad Cantonment conducted the Paratrooping course.

Manzur joined the army in 2002 and now serving as an instructor in the special warfare wing, while Nusrat serves as a staff officer in the Research & Development wing at the SI&T, Jalalabad cantonment.

That still makes them peers, doesn't it? Since its just a paratroopers course we are talking about, it's not that the lady serves under him.

Say I work as developer and my fiance work as HR in same company and she conducted one of those mandatory but useless HR courses which I attended as trainee. Will it be unethical?

Let there be happy couples all over India and Bangladesh, but please spare our army. I know I sound harsh, but very few civilians understand the importance of discipline in the army. I'd suggest the happy couple quit the army and fool around somewhere else.

Lol how is being happy is contrary to being disciplined? :-)

You have to go through all the posts where we discussed the possibility of "perceived favoritism" by her peers and the politics that comes with it.

Being happy itself is not the problem. You're taking it out of context. I only replied to one of your post in which, it seems, you are condoning the lack of professionalism because they seem to be a happy couple.
