Batman Begins was the second best objectively speaking. I remember thinking about how I wasted my money to watch it back in 2005 due to the terrible Schmaucher Batman movies of the 90s and oh boy how I was wrong. The Dark Knight remains IMO the best super hero film ever made, but Batman Begins really set the stage.

Debatable. I agree Batman Begins set all of it up wonderfully but Nolan himself said the start of Dark Knight rises is the best shot he has filmed and I can't see anything matching that and the rest of the movie has beautiful scenes as well.

IMHO the story of Dark Knight Rises was too far fetched ... even compared to Batman Begins. And there were a few plot holes that I just could not get over . In terms of cinematics and production quality, Dark Knight Rises is the best hands down though.
