Remember Jews ?When they were ordered to sacrifice a cow..What color, what height , what day what time...Same here excuses ..you can give them 100 logic or rational explanation and they won't open there mind..Just abuse there family and see reaction how dare you to be personal ? hmmmm

That's why I don't indulge in a lot of debate on Islamic matters...

I am happy that there is blasphemy law in my country.. My wish is being fulfilled, why should I worry and debate with the jewish type people?

Yes day and night they say constitution is will of people..When the same constitution declare a capital punishment and other section as minority ..They says its a man made law and can be changed..Double standards as always

.
So you accept that the Holy Quran does not prescribe any worldly punishment for blasphemy ... Good

As for your question that what proof do I have that 295 C is in violation of Quranic injunctions, the Holy Quran forbids killing anyone for crimes other than Murder and Fasad fil Arz ... So I believe that a capital punishment for any other crime (except the two mentioned in the Holy Qur'an) is indeed a violation of Quranic injunctions ...

About Hadith and other secondary sources, we may discuss them once we are clear on what the primary source i.e. The Holy Quran does (or does not) say on this matter

And I have always supported each and every thing (including punishments) mentioned in the Holy Quran

In Quran, we are ordered to obey Prophet (PBUH).

Prophet's (PBUH) orders are mentioned in Ahadith..

These ahadiths suggest that Prophet (PBUH) ordered to kill blasphemers..

His (PBUH) orders are still applicable because Quran orders atiullah wa ateeur rasool..

Simple... :)

.
just asking. since any thing can come under blasphemy law what about this.

u do realise that it is ISLAMIC Republic of Pakistan where people can insult and kill their own fellow people for being Ahmedi/Shia/Hindu/Christian etc. just look at all the nice comments being passed 2 the Ahmedi member here:lol:.. hence my earlier question 2 u

but there are hidayat and incidents which not only suggest but also shows his forgiving behavior toward blasphemers.:)

It is very simple...

We are Ahle Sunnah Wal Jammah...

We have been ordered in Quran: Atiullah wa atiur rasool wa ulil amri minkum

So if prophet (PBUH) ordered something, it is wajib on us to do that based on the above verse.

Prophet's (PBUH) orders and his sunnah reached us through hadiths, several of them suggest that he ordered to kill blasphemers, it is wajib on the islamic state to kill blasphemers now a173843"]In Quran, we are ordered to obey Prophet (PBUH).

Prophet's (PBUH) orders are mentioned in Ahadith..

These ahadiths suggest that Prophet (PBUH) ordered to kill blasphemers..

My friend, Ahadith are a secondary source .. They were written/compiled by ordinary humans centuries after the demise of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) ... Ahadith And their authenticity are debatable ... The Holy Qur'an is the unchanged and unaltered word of Allah almighty protected by none other than Allah himself

And there is no Sahih Hadith that tells us to kill all blasphemers.. Imam Abu Hanifa to Aala Hazrat , all great Hanafi scholars believed that a single utterance of blasphemy (by a Non Muslim) is not necessarily a punishable offence .. Now compare it with our Blasphemy Laws ... A single alleged utterance of Blasphemy (by anyone) is punishable by death (Asia Bibi case for example)

My friend, Ahadith are a secondary source ..

Yes... But a valid source.. :)

So again...

Quran order to obey prophet (PBUH).

Prophet (PBUH) ordered to kill blasphemers..

Since Quran says atiullah wa ateeur rasool, his (PBUH) orders are still applicable..

Regarding your saying that hadith mentioning killing of blasphemers are dhaeef, I say they are not.. :)

.
I don't know any thing about the Islam relegion so treat my comment accordingly
1) why does people think Allah need puny humans intervention in punishing humans since Allah is greater than every human and the mighty creater of the whole world
2) since nabi is gone there is no real messenger who can talk to God right ? Then who the hell is humans to judge others(judgment of human is reserved to God in every Holly book)

@Gillani88 how can a person (saw) order a hit on person just on the bases of blasphemy if the same person(saw) stopped an angel from crushing whole taif between mountains and make dua for them even after they stoned him (saw)till his shoes were filled with his(saw)own blood. surley there must be something more to the story.my nabi was too merciful and polite to order a hit just for a personal reason.
@The Sandman @Zibago @Moonlight @django
Not worth it bro not worth it let them be let them slaughter everyone they claim to defend Holy Prophet (PBUH) but in reality they're the one's who're damaging his image more than the blasphemers i have really given up i thought i managed to turn around OP from his extremist mindset but i was so wrong turns out i just wasted my time.

@Gillani88 nah man it's you guys who are ''more knowledgeable'' on Islam after all we're ''secular liberals western agents" according to you more knowledgeable people so obviously we know nothing about Islam, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) his teachings and his message and pls try not to quote me or tag me again.

I wonder why you quoted just the first sentence and ignored what I had actually written in my post .. Arguing for the sake of argument ?

And I didn't say that Ahadith mentioning killing of blasphemers were zaeef ... I said there is no Hadith in which we are told to kill all blasphemers (or which categorically states that blasphemy itself is an offence punishable by death) ... Please read carefully

Agree.. there was a time when wine wasn't prohibited..

There was a time when Jihad wasn't allowed even in defense...

It is good that now we are coming to the point..

My question, do ahadiths suggest that blasphemers were killed?

.

There was a time when Jihad wasn't allowed even in defense...

But there never was a time when killing/punishing blasphemers was ordered by Allah almighty in the Holy Quran

Surah An-Nissah is a Medinian surah, in verse 140 of this surah, Allah tells Muslims not to sit in the company of blasphemers

Killing/punishing blasphemers wasn't ordered even in Medina . ... what's your point ?

Got you..

So you are saying that there are categories of blasphemers. Which ones should be subjected to capital punishment?
