Now my previous post might look like some old fashioned trolling but it is funny how majorities feel threatened by marginalized minorities. It is the same thing in Malaysia where muslims stood up against the construction of temples with cow heads, its the same in France which banned the headscarf and of course it is the same in what is now called India. I think the scare mongering that Muslims and Christians might overtake Hindus is pure rubbish. It is not happening in this India until perhaps things change dramatically... If we fall to this scare mongering we are putting up with majoritarianism. Said Majoritarianism has always been a concept that is made to break or weaken secularism.

That is why we must resist it with all our energies. It is against the secular fabric of the state and against the protection or freedom of rights of minorities.

You are free to believe on a pakistani right wing forum that christian missionaries are some kind of saints. And the less said about muslims, whether minority or majority the world over the better. Thanks for the article. It has some inaccuracies though. When Sharif visited Kabul in 1992, the ruling power was not the hardline jihadis like Hekmatyar or Taliban, but the Islamic state which was moderate and independent from Pakistan. Pakistani army was supporting Hekmatyar(probably unknown to Sharif even) to topple this coalition. They did not succeed until Taliban came into picture with BB's approval.
