The American Dream Is Alive. In China.

.
Yes, American dream can be only a dream many times. I agree.

So, when Chinese dream, it always become reality?

LOL

Dream is a Dream, it does not matter what it was, you may not ever achieve it, that's why It is called a dream. And yes, that also happened in China, Chinese can dream to be rich, but you cannot ALL be rich. That is the point.

Check the title, American dream is alive, in China. you can ask the author what he means if you can't get it.

Yes, some people do that, remember when people first went to US , they had nothing, poor and unwanted by anyone, rich people back then went to UK instead, but tide always changes and actually by the recently statitics it's changing fast now.

You can call it 'some' if you want and technically it is true that it is 'some'. But the reality is that there are enough Chinese who done it that it is outright embarrassing for China.

Citizenship is about a political relationship between a person and a government. There are supposed to be mutual, or a two-way street, of duties and responsibilities. The US set the bare minimum criteria of in-country birth and have FAITH that the newly borne citizen would eventually appreciate that relationship. What is the likelihood that the Chinese child will grow up taught about the positive aspects of the US -- the country that blindly gave him/her citizenship -- and of those mutual duties and responsibilities? Virtually none. Embarrassing does not begin to describe the pathetic situation.

US is an immigration country, you are kind of immigrant yourself, I don't think you are a native Indian, in your logic the people who fled their ancestral homes the most are Europeans.

. .
Irrelevant. What I posted was about citizenship.

At least being an immigrant -- a WILLFUL one -- is a more honorable status than simply being borne in the US just to acquire citizenship then be taken back to your parents' home country.
US is a immigration country, it belongs to no one or it belongs to everyone. in another half a century, US will become Mexico if no drastic changes happen.

Again, keyword is "DREAM"

If this is for real, the author will not say "American DREAM is alive in China" he or she will say "Opportunities is alive in China" Personally, I would not call a country with less than $10000 GDP per capita "Rich" I mean for some, maybe, but at the same time, there are still a LOT, I mean A LOT of those living in a shit hole, and yes, those people can DREAM.

China was not rich, just like when US first embarked fast development track was not rich either, every person can have a chance to get rich cause the opportunities are just immense, 100 years ago many Americans lived in poverty when they first arrived in US but the land offered them great potentials, that's what China is like today, that's the main point the author of the OP article tries to make.

.
Don't matter. Great for Chinese people. And even people want to go to China for opportunities, go ahead.

.
