The 50 Most Dangerous Cities In The World

. .
Someone please put Patna and Delhi in that list.

comparing delhi with drugs infested cities and the ones where gun is the real law.. come on one need to be out of mind to say that! good thing about delhi is that even smallest crime is reported.. don't even try to compare it with terror, drugs, guns infested cities..there are many cities in pakistan that missed the list though

.
I think this list is derived from reported crimes.

Not all crimes in South Asia and elsewhere are reported.

I don't know what the criteria is?.... meaning is there a centeral place where reports have to entered?

Because the ethnic violence in Karachi and in cities in West Pakistan will break this list. And it does certainly makes the news...

Reported by the law enforcing agencies that is. That's where lists such as these get their statistics.

Be glad that Pakistan appears so peaceful. India is also relatively peaceful.

America is the most evil country in the world.

Media reports are different :D

lol..they are the benchmarks.....no one can compare them hence they are not included in the list but used as reference..

LOL you are insulting your own cities the Crime rate is Compared by Murder Rate per Capita, Murder rate VS less population means More Murders per capita, therefore Asian cities are huge in population so the murder rate goes down!

India isn't on he list because despite news to the contrary India largely is peaceful relative to places like Brazil and Mexico where law and order has effectively broken down and the gangs rule the streets. If you were to read any news comig out of those countries you would see the most barbaric crimes are commonplace and that mass killings are nothing unusual. Additionally in the US where right to bear arms is in the constitution (sort of) and there are more guns then people then of course murder is off the scale. India thankfully has no gun culture and has one of the lowest guns per capita rates on earth with licensing to get guns being incredibly stringent. Pakistan and Afghan cities can't come on the list because they are termed as in active conflict similarly with Mogadishu and other African cities/towns.

Pakistan is not in active Conflict many pAKISTANI cities are peaceful!

The list ranking is inaccurate. It takes total murders as a ratio of population. Karachi's population is over 17 million and thus if it had 3,000 murders...it won't crack the list.

The ranking should be based total number of violent deaths irrespective to population.
