one day i made a point on PDF, "why Pakistan's rulers try for F16s so hard for $70mil while Chinese Top Gun J10 is offered to them for hardly $50mil and China offer easy loan to buy J10 also?" while the reality is, by just J10s, China can defend itself from whole world at one time and right now most of the Western military preparations are based on concerned with China only.

a man is slave by his level of thinking. China can fight with whole world by whatever arms they have, while even if India gets all the best arms from Russia, including from West also, Indians are always looked insecured. its not the arms but its the people who have guts to win any war and China does have this guts in themselves

apart for my natural bias towards india, i can see u have tasted sweet something in someone's somewhere.

Also, Iran has a 'Will Power' to become a Global Power which we find is lacked in Indians, mainly in NRIs, by a big margin. Iran is comparatively a small country than US, EU, China, India, Russia but Iran always try to develop defence arms by themselves. In fact Iran's economy is as big that Iran must be included in G20, I sincerely believe. but look on Indians of 3rd largest economy on PPP with having 3rd largest defense expenditure on PPP, even if they get the best arms of Russia with full technology transfer, whether its russian best aircraft SU30mki, their best T90 tanks, full support in missile defense with having all the key missiles and missile defence of Russia through hidden deals, like recent supply of Russian deadliest Nuclear Submarine Akula-2 which was also a 'secret deal', full support in Naval ship build up including AC, Frigates/ Destroyers etc. but you will still find Indians always being threatened from China and look on US/West for help against China

there is no country of the world whose nationals are as Insecured for their security as Indians, mainly NRIs. Iran has a Will Power to become a Global Power but Indian mainly proud on their strength over Pakistan and are always threatened with China, and hopefully they will remain like this forever

I don't understand what is the whole fuss about? If India has money, why should it not buy. Its the same for every country USA, Russia, China.
Also a lot depends upon the ambitions of a certain country. India for example has global ambitions. It wants the world to reckon it as a regional as well as global player.

if we have a look on the disputes, India has either with Pakistan or China, the position of India is just to live with whatever India has. we lived in a time when people were asking question, "if India was in the good position in 1971 then why full efforts were not made to get the pak's occupied Kashmir? why only freedom of Bangladesh and what India got out of it? and once Pakistan had come in the position to lose, why efforts were not made to get the whole kashmir in 1971, the success or unsuccess was different.........." as India always claimed its right on whole Kashmir....

but Indian position is, as defined by many in India, that, even if India may have to leave whole kashmir then also its good until we may make the rest of India, a 'success' in world. hence we find India has done heavy fencing on the Indo-Pak border, neither India wants to go further nor they want someone to come this side also. also, the best part of India before 1947 in fact went to West Pakistan...... and the same we find Indian attitude towards China also, that is, India is just not interested in getting the land it lost in 1962, but somehow having peace on the chinese border is the main issue. Indian policy is just to maintain its current state and make it better in world.......

and then we find India now having heavy investments in Navy as the bigger challeneges in future is expected from sea. and you are right to say that, "Its the same for every country USA, Russia, China." as, more the other countries increase their defence expenditure, the neighbors also get worried while Indian side just wants to have a strength somewhere in between Pakistan and China only.............
