The 13-Year Divide: India's Economy Looks Much Like China's in 2001

Failed democracy???:lol: We are world's biggest and most vibrant one and you speak as if there is no poverty, crime or other shit in China, damn you are still a developing country. So you have all the shit plus you are gagged and censored. Nobody in their right mind will trade their freedom with anything but as I said you won't understand :D:D

Okay, India is the world's biggest failed democracy.

Beidou might not be chinese but there have been plenty others and you know it. Anyway since he was a troll my reply was specifically for him.

I don't have any ill will towards china so chill out.

LOL, why not ? India will surpass china. There, I have said it. Now go cry in a corner

Are you delusional enough to go around granting permission to people to do whatever they want to do ? ..... did you grant permission to Obama to be president of the US too ? :cheesy:

Permission?
I just said India won't surpass China.
I will put my money on Chinese hard work and pragmatism than typical Indian cheap talk any day.

You know Beidou2020 has already admitted he is not Chinese right?

So your argument fails.

Then he should change his flag.

You must be nefelibata!
How could you ignore the poverty stats of China??
who doesnt know that China has had a lopsided development?
Its easy to turn a blind eye at the poor from your country and point at the poverty in India. But dont forget India's poverty and inclusive growth record is much better than China's, and levels of poverty in the two countries are not very different.
China's efficiency for the decade 1999 to 2010 was around -0.3 that is for each 10 per cent growth, poverty in China was reduced by 3 percentage points. For the same period India had efficiency-inclusive index of 0.6, twice the level observed in China. 10 per cent growth in average consumption reduces poverty in China by 0.3 percentage points, in India by 0.74 percentage points.
The capacity of China to continue absorbing a larger share of the global consumer goods markets is becoming increasingly limited, with other emerging markets, including India, aggressively competing for a share.

Plus Chinese poverty eradication success is exaggrated according to many sorces.

The GDP (per capita) of India in 1991 was more than that of China. Looks like globalisation worked well in China but not in India. But must say that chinese worked very hard for the betterment of their economy. While India faced political turmoils in the decade.
