After he retook the city, he found that Ayuthaya was no more a city. All of the Ayuthaya population was drained back to Burma. The cities was burned. He then found new capital city in the area present day Bangkok. He became the King of Siam. His name is BoromRacha2. However, people known him as King Taksin (nick name).

From the fall of Ayuthaya and the founding of new Siam it takes only within 1 year.

To protect Siam, Chiangmai must be taken from being long time burmese protectorate. He said. (This is because from Chiangmai to bangkok is a large single plan. Since then he wages war up North for Chiangmai.

Finally the Burmese was able to defeat China. Burma then send the army to retake newly established Bangkok. Siam was no where match the number of soldiers Burma has... Vietnam was in civil war. However, Newly established Siam was also about to have the first coup, when King's best general compromised with Vietnam General in Cambodia so that each can go back and play both countries' internal politcs. King Taksin was killed.

The vassal states and borders King Taksin left us was then lost to france during colonial period. Thailand survived colonial rule by keep losing her vassal states and borders like cracked biscuit until the present border.
