KAAN Fighter Jets RAM coating has been shown to absorb 97% of radar emissions in lab & drone testing. KAAN is unique in that the Fibremat is embedded into the composite fuselage itself. Then a RAM coating is sprayed on the composite panels.

"For us, the engineering part of the simulator is very important. Because as engineers, we will try to capture as much as possible in the first flight by testing the data that our team has designed, designed and expected to see in the simulator as test pilots. Therefore, we want to make KAAN very powerful not only in terms of aircraft, performance, but also in terms of air-air, air-ground and electronic operations. That's why we try to improve ourselves by testing the applications, interfaces and effects of all the systems we need on this simulator. In the coming years, the number of our simulators will increase. Our simulators will continue as development and engineering. After that, it will continue as training simulators. In order to provide training to the pilots of our Air Force, we will also charge them simulators. After the pilots of our Air Force are trained here, we will bring them to the level where they will train new pilots with our simulators."

"Simulator infrastructures are infrastructures that can bring 200 to 1 in projects if they can be designed and executed at the right time. One is our flight functions, one is our mission functions. The flight function is actually to perform the flight, which is the basic function of any aircraft. Besides these, we add cockpit specific pilot evaluations. Turkish-made combat aircraft KAAN, developed by Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ), is nearing its first flight, thanks to the intensive work of Turkish engineers and pilots in the engineering development simulator.

That fanboy and clown you're referring to is the CEO of Turkish Aerospace Industries. Now I'm not saying he should always be taken as a credible source when it comes to this stuff since he tends to be VERY ambitious sometimes. But in all honesty, I believe he is referring to what TAI is aiming to achieve with this aircraft in the distant future. And yes, one of those ambitions is to create a more capable platform than the F-35.

Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) started the production of 2 more KAANs. Making special statements to Sabah newspaper, TAI General Manager Temel Kotil used the following statements:

“We started to produce 2 more KAANs. Our plane is able to fly, but we are being meticulous because of some tests. In 2028, we will deliver 20 of our KAAN warplanes to the Turkish Air Force. Block 10 package, these aircraft will be a sub segment of the F35 and an upper segment of the F16.”

The number of F404 engines ordered to the USA for HÜRJET has been announced.​

TAI has announced the number of F404 engines ordered to the USA for the HÜRJET Jet Trainer and Light Attack Aircraft. 100 engines were ordered from the US company GE.

Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) General Manager Prof. Dr. Temel Kotil announced that 100 orders have been placed for the General Electric (GE) F404 engine used in TAI's HÜRJET Jet Trainer and Light Attack Aircraft.

HÜRJET is powered by one General Electric F404-GE-102 engine. HÜRJET, which successfully carried out its first engine start test on January 30, 2023, took off on April 25, 2023. HÜRJET, which has completed around 10 test flights so far, continues its test activities.

100 motors ordered to the USA means 100 HURJET. The engines are expected to be produced in Eskişehir under license by TEI. During the Paris Air Show 2023, TEI and GE signed a Maintenance, Repair and Renovation (MRO) agreement for the F110 Turbofan Engine. A similar agreement is likely to be signed for the F404.
