We could need front Line Bomber Variant of TF-X, than we have a proper Plattform for launching SOM-ER Variants with up to 1000 KM Range !:D:D

I think i don't understand this engine issue...

TurAF wants twin engines' thrust value to be atleast 70.000...

Now i look at offers with afterburners...

EJ200 => 20.000 x 2 = 40.000
F414-GE-400 => 22.000 x 2 = 44.000
F110-GE-129 => 29.500 x 2 = 59.000
Snecma M88-4E => 17.000 x 2 = 34.000
Snecma M88-ECO => 20.250 x 2 = 40.500

Maybe in the following times

F110-GE-132 => 32.500 x 2 = 65.000
EJ-220 => 23.100 x 2 = 46.200
EJ-230 => 27.000 x 2 = 54.000

As you see all of them are under 70.000... Non of them meet requirements or did i make a mistake about calculating ?.. Can someone explain the issue pls ?..

For one thing thrust value doesn't have to match mtow value.
 
Read it carefully
70000 lb as maximum take-off weight, not engine trust
FX1 at the same level maximum take-off wieght class with F-35
PW135 has the trust of 43000 lb
So power/weight ratio is 0.614
For F-22 its 2x35000 (F119) /80000=0.875
For that F-35 level power F414-GE-400 or EJ-220 sufficient
To get F-22 power you need 306525 lb powered dual engines like 2*F110
F110 or F119 engines which are large and heavy
For me EJ-230 (27000 lb) or F414 EPE (26000 lb) is better if you decrease weight class to 65000 lb or not

70000 stands for the weight of whole aircraft, not the power of engines together. if this is what you are asking?

If it is not a big thing can you calculate and write MTOWs with these engines 1 by 1 for 31.751 kg of twin engined FX-1 ?..

To be honest, i strongly believe that, Turkey will choose F110 (129 or 132 versions) engine. As it was used by other arab nations and will not make any trouble to export it. Also, It is the only engine can make the Turkish jet be compatible against f22.
Also, Turkey can gain a lot of TOT through this project and develop enough knowledge to develop its own enjine....
But, as recently Turkey coorporated with Pratt&Whitney to manufacture parts for F135 enjine, we might see some other optios. But, to be honest, i dont believe it, because, new engine will also have many restricts to export it..

F110-GE-129 79 - 129 kN --- 17.759 lbf - 58.000 lbf
F100-PW-229 79 - 129.7 kN --- 17.759 lbf - 58.314 lbf
Eurojet EJ230+ 78 - 120 kN --- 17.535 lbf - 53.954 lbf

More likely we will start with one of these.

For example, the French Rafale jet production capability is 12 jets in a year. As Turkey plan to order 100-150 jets, Turkey will have another 10 years by 2023 to produce its own engine. I believe Turkey can get TOT, as it has many other technology to offer instead.. Italy and Japan, would be good examples..

As i mentioned above that, Turkey will have another 10 years to develop jet engine by 2023, seems like you really plan it that way...

TEI'nin yanı sıra havacılık sanayinin de hedef, misyon ve vizyonunun ele alındığı çalıştayda, özellikle savunma sanayine havacılık alanında motor üreten kurumun geleceği için uzmanlar görüşlerini paylaştı.

İstanbul'da 2 gün süren stratejik yönetim planı çalıştayına Savunma Sanayii Müsteşarı İsmail Demir de katılarak sektörün geleceğine yönelik misyon ve vizyona katkılarını sundu.

Gelecek 20 yılı kapsayan projeksiyonda, TEI tarafından üretilecek özgün tasarıma sahip milli motorların planlama, tasarım, imalat süreçlerinin yanı sıra uluslararası alanda motor parça imalatı ve bakımı konusunda da atılması gereken adımlar gündeme gelerek bu yönde çalışma prensipleri ortaya kondu.

TEI, oluşturduğu stratejik yönetim planıyla sistemli bir şekilde yürüttüğü tasarım çalışmalarıyla da sektöre rol model olmaya devam edecek ve uluslar arası arenada da sektörünün en önemli oyuncuları arasında yer alacak.
