I must admit I don't know who's the moderator in the Turkish section, but it is a shame how this section is handled: Calling others "stupid frog-eater", me a Nazi or a "faked Chinese bootlicker", insulting anyone without a consequence who only has a critical thinking, who asks a critical question concerning the TFX and its engines its powerplant or even who doubts these are realistic. Never you get an argument and never an explanation ... all replies are direct attacks, insults or offensive rebuttals.

As such I'm not sure if this is the new standard here in this section, if it is a rule-less area or if at least a senior moderator can explain to you that a forum exists to share different, even contradicting opinions and not everyone against a certain meaning or with a critical thinking is a Nazi, a anti-Turkish-pro-Gülen offender, but simply one with a different opinion.

Dementsprechend schlecht ist die Information der Bürger die bestenfalls ein schlechtes Englisch sprechen und sich ausschliesslich in der provinziellen deutschen Medienlandschaft informieren. Dazu reicht es die deutsche Tagesschau zu Vergleichen mit den italienischen Tagesschauen des Staatsfernsehns. Das sind Welten. Dementsprechend schlecht ist die deutsche Diplomatie. Es gibt in Deutschland auch keine Stadt wie Istanbul, weder in Grösse, noch in industrieller Wichtigkeit, kultureller Hinsicht und finanzieller, vereint in einer Stadt. Es gibt das finanzielle Frankfurt, das trendige Berlin, das industrielle Stuttgart aber keine Stadt die das alles vereint in dieser Wichtigkeit. Ganz zu schweigen von der deutschen Provinz mit Städten wie Gütersloh, Mannheim, Bielefeld und vielen mehr. Durch den angezettelten Krieg wurden selbstverschuldet die Städte ihrer Zentren und Seele beraubt und stehen heute in ihrem 50er Jahre Mief da. Hässlich und platt. Gesellschaftlich? Das Land hinkte jahrzehntelang hinterher. Politisch? Statisch und verkrampft bis zum geht nicht mehr und jaaa keine Experimente wagen. Deutschlands Bundeswehr ist in mehrfacher Hinsicht ein Schatten seiner selbst. Zum Einen werden Zusagen nicht eingehalten, damit schwindet das Vertrauen in die BW, in DE, bei den Bündnispartnern. Zum Anderen ist das, was eine Armee wie die BW ausmacht, nur noch eine Lachnummer. Nichts schießt, schwimmt, fährt, fliegt. Selbst für Transporte muss die BW sich im Ausland Maschinen ausleihen. Der Gesamtzustand der BW wird nach außen hin durch die Regierungsflugzeuge repräsentiert. Über diese lacht die ganze Welt. Insgesamt ist die BW in einem Zustand, der es einer generischen Streitmacht erlauben würde, sich mit von Eseln gezogenen Handkarren anzugreifen und dennoch sicher sein zu können, kaum auf nennenswerte Gegenwehr zu stoßen.

Cam'on. Turkey already has most critical part of the engine. Metallurgy sience. Turkey has developed high temperature and pressure resistant metals already and using it on TS-1500.

And Also TEI has achived the production capability of every part of Engine. Look at this image. Tei now can produce every single dot in the image including red ones. since september 2017.

Another critical technology is Single Crystal Turbin Blades. TEI can also produce that.

And TEI is not dependent on another country. They take raw metal and convert this pieces to high tech metals

Two years ago TEI(Company who is developing TE-1500) said "If they win the contract they will make an engine in 14 years." Which is 2032 in this case. Nobody claims that National engine will be ready in 2025. TFX will use american f110 engine for development and the first patch. Even Ismail Demir said first patch of TFX can be 4++ gen.(Because of engine first patch will use f110). Second patch will use domestic engine and Since first patch production will start arour 2030 second patch can be 2040. which means there is plenty of time to test the engine. Unless some critical thing hapens and they fast forward to production

thanks for the educational post! however, its kind of funny to see how some ignorant members who claims that Turkey has zero experiance in the technologies required for the development of a engine simply has no reply to this post i.e TEI'S CONFERANNCE ON ENGINE TECHNOLOGIES but what is even funnier is, they call themselves rational while wacthing them divrting the subject. The only authority on this subject is TEI. So again the choices is quite simple for someone who has a functioning brain on the one side here we have simply nobodies of PDF V.S TEI's statement on the engine development investments and time table here we are talking about a company which is one of the TOP 100 defence companies in the world.

Yes, a lot of it is actually true - unfortunately - and I can well understand why we are ridiculed in the world as weird, strange or even arrogant. That about the BW ii's true and actually simply shameful ... nevertheless none of the open questions about the TFX has been clarified and why critical questions or a contrary attitude is accepted in Germany, but this is simply not acceptable in Turkey, one could be explained in a long analysis about the present Turkey, but that would be off-topic.

@BON PLAN we haven't purchased any more Russian engines since WS-10 become attached to J-10 from last year. In fact the last engine order to Russia I think was for Pakistan's RD-93 for JF-17. The last purchase for Al-31 series was many years ago I can't even remember anymore. Those are for the J-10 produced until WS-10 took over last year.

Now all old J-10 previously using Al-31 are being switched over to WS-10 and all J-11 which have used Al-31 so not the later B version, are also being switched. WS-10 production rate is still a bit slow to replace all the hundreds of Al-31 but WS-10 has been working on J-11B for more than 10 years now and initial problems are over with newer versions of the engine. Finally it has proven itself.

But I have not seen any Chinese trolls here yet we are first to be blamed. I was reading through it all and it seems Bon Plan's questions raised some reactions then immediately everyone is called Chinese troll even though no Chinese until I commented and no trolling at all.

I don't consider this underestimating Turkey's capabilities to the same level as for example the real trolls underestimate China. The only thing here is just two or three people asked some question and express doubt in producing a totally new engine so quickly with such limited resources. This doesn't compare to what Indian and Turkish or American trolls will call anything related to Chinese developments. Anyway I don't care about these people can believe whatever imaginations and comforts and call Chinese gooks and chinks like usual (almost all my conversation with Turkish members here are like that). Just thought I want to point out this senselessness. Always calling something it is not.
