Cheaper prices for EV will quicken the elimination of internal combustion engine (ICE) motor vehicles in China. Majority of ICE car makers are old established brands from Europe, Japan and US.

Tesla's price cut will affect both EV and ICE motor vehicles. Demand for petrol will also be affected.

Another good thing is air qualities in cities will be much better due to less ICE vehicles.

Hey just bought my car for 60k. Oops its now sold for 30k. Way to go destroy customer loyalty. Trade short term gain for long term pain. Lots of pissed off customers wont be buying Tesla for their next EV. They associated Tesla with the evil doer that started it all....
