Tesla Is Killing Competition With Its Charging Network

No potential in space-x as well. They are using Russian rocket engines. :(
SpaceX has reduced the cost of Satellite launches by more than 4 times. The cost before SpaceX came into market was around $350 Million to $450 Million for one launch. Now they do it for around $70 to $90 Million.
They have built rockets which can land straight back on earth which if you think, will be very helpful in future for asteroid mining and Mars landing if they really do it.
But the real money will be in Asteroid mining and that is something in which SpaceX can really excel.

. . . .
So this proves Elon Musk is actually a scam.

@Hamartia Antidote sorry my friend but here I stand correct.

Lol! He is being fined and demoted for telling short sellers he would take the company private on Twitter. That doesn’t mean Tesla’s books are a fraud.

What he may do now is take Tesla private.
He definitely won’t take SpaceX public. I guess he will be getting that volcanic island lair.

@Hamartia Antidote I told you before hand this was going to happen. Why don't you listen Musk is history. :)
He lied too much he will be found in history books now.

LOL! The guy is around the 40th richest man on the planet. He isn’t going anywhere. I bet he ends up buying the company and taking it private.

Keep in mind Trump is a Twitter ranter and I’m sure he would have no problem pardoning Musk. Hmm...what a way to raise his popularity!! Interesting this happens on a Saturday when the market is closed.

@BHarwana

Some misconceptions in your posts here.

Tesla Motors

Tesla Motors was a Silicon Valley Startup in 2006, and is credited for making Electric Vehicles commercially viable. Earlier experiments from other vendors flopped everywhere.

Tesla Motors now produce highest quality Electric Vehicles in the world. Even Germans have admitted as much, begrudgingly.

Tesla Motors have fulfilled every significant debt obligation, and is getting orders beyond its developing capacity at present. However, Tesla Motors is growing by the year.

My take is that Elon Musk have orchestrated a global Electric Vehicle revolution, and many will benefit from this enterprise worldwide. Many are becoming weary of costly petrol and diesel due to games of OPEC, and want to switch. I would also switch when I am able, inshallah.

Space X

Space X develop its own rockets including engines*. In other words, Space X does not use Russian engines.

*Merlin engine.

Each Falcon 9 series rocket is equipped with 9 x Merlin engines (standard) - an important safeguard against the prospects of an engine failure or two during the course of operations.

FYI: https://www.spacex.com/falcon9

An American engineer Tom Mueller designed Merlin engine for Space X.

FYI: https://www.geekwire.com/2018/spacex-propulsion-guru-tom-mueller-looks-ahead-rocket-engines-mars/

Mueller is also developing a new (more powerful engine) for Space X which will enable manned missions to planet Mars in the near future.

Space X have in fact made space exploration affordable by developing "re-usable rocket boosters." Thanks to these boosters, each trip to space is now cost-effective. A breakthrough in rocket science in short.

My take in regards to Space X is that Musk have rekindled space exploration by making it cost-effective. Another milestone for mankind.

SEC penalized Musk for his reckless tweeting habits. A compromise have been reached though: https://www.theatlantic.com/technol...n-musk-and-tesla-reach-settlement-sec/571738/

Some argue that SEC went overboard in its crackdown of Musk. Nevertheless, Musk is too big to stop now, and a celebrity.

As neutral observers, we should respect and admire entrepreneurs who bring revolution with impressive ideas and accomplishments in the field.

Yes! People need to get a grip on their tweeting habits. Important lesson for all.

@Hamartia Antidote there is a word "will" in your post and usually the word "will" is used to scam people in 99.999999% of the cases. Do you know that?

Dude! Look at the numbers...240,000 was an underestimation for 2018. It almost hit 250,000!

Actually #1 now.

Tesla deploys its 35,000th Supercharger

Tesla is currently growing its Supercharger network at an impressive rate. The automaker went from 23,277 Superchargers at 2,564 stations at the end of 2020, to 31,498 Superchargers at 3,476 stations at the end of 2021. That’s growing at a 35% year-over-year pace.
