Terrorism decreased but Pakistan gets same rank in GTI.

Even after so much reduction in terrorist incidents in Pakistan, it has got the same rank which was in 2016 in GTI(Global Terrorism Index). Imo, heavily impacted incidents decreased definitely but the low impact incidents have not been curtailed.
What do you think guys we need to do to end such incidents?

On the other hand, it is very interesting to see that India has climbed to 7th level which is 1 rank higher than the previous year.
Really the main perpetratorbehind TERRORISM in India is Maoists but we don't listen voices vociferously than we listen in cases such as URI etc.
Imo, India puts more emphasis on URI type incidents to divert the attention from Maoist problem.

To be honest US ranking on the list is hardly flattering. Having said that you are absolutely spot on. These rankings don't mean shit.

Although situation is improved but Pakistan has a very very long way to go. Groups like BLA and TTP and their wings are still active, as if this was not enough, now Pakistan have lawless semi terrorist groups such as Pishteen terrorist movement or PTM and Tehreek e Luteray of Pakistan or TLP.

Pakistani security authorities seem highly reluctant to take any action against st such groups, they sometimes even deny that these are even a threat. And therefore these groups are massively recruiting jobless duffers and bringing cities to standstill at their will.

You may be right to some extent but imo, low impact incident and incidents in far flung areas of Balochistan & some restricted areas of Fata don't attract media attention and we think all is right.

Not quite. These lists have been pulled out with a agenda meets some facts driving them. Objectively speaking they have no standing but subjectively they are devastating. They along with the western media [often both play off each other] build the global narrative. That is what they say becomes perception over most of the world. And once the world thinks Pakistan is a terrorist infested country the results are. Well you already know.

Because maoism is decreasing with increasing prosperity. Its roots are based in economics. Once a labourer or poor farmer gets a job, he is unlikely to opt for violent measures.
Maoist areas are reducing in size, with time. India has also eliminated communist governments in all places except kerala.

Religious terrorism is based on brainwashing the youth with faith. These people are generally irredeemable.
