The total estimated cost of the project is 4.6 billion dollars, the expected implementation period is 5 years. The new railway will connect 10 settlements of Uzbekistan, Afghanistan and Pakistan, will become the main transport logistics highway for the region.

This project includes the construction of more than 1,200 artificial structures, including three tunnels, more than 100 crossings and 336 bridges, 33 railway stations, 785 km of power lines and 790 km of communication lines.

Within the framework of the project, it is planned to build 765 kilometers of railways.
