Ten things to learn from the Japanese

10 things we can learn from the Japanese after the earthquake, tsunami and nuclear disasters hit them

1. THE CALMNESS: Not a single visual of chest-beating or wild grief. Sorrow itself has been elevated.

2. THE DIGNITY: Disciplined queues for water and groceries. Not a rough word or a crude gesture.

3. THE ABILITY: The incredible architects, for instance : Buildings swayed but didn’t fall.

4. THE GRACE: People bought only what they needed for the present, so everybody could get something.

5. THE ORDER: No looting in shops. No honking and no overtaking on the roads. Just understanding.

6. THE SACRIFICE: Fifty workers stayed back to pump sea water in the N-reactors. How will they ever be repaid ?

7. THE TENDERNESS: Restaurants cut prices. An unguarded ATM is left alone. The strong cared for the weak.

8. THE TRAINING: The old and the children, everyone knew exactly what to do. And they did just that.

9. THE MEDIA: They showed magnificent restraint in the bulletins. No silly reporters. Only calm reportage.

10. THE CONSCIENCE:
When the power went off in a store, people put things back on the shelves and left quietly.

We can/should learn a lot from them. Japan will once again rise from the ashes stronger than ever before.

I am racist so I will appreciate the race not the people.

The Japanese race is an unbeatable and all conquering race.

In the aftermath of twin atomic bombings, where other races might have had given up, the world saw as to how the Japanese race came back and too so strongly.

Such a race that can still prosper and progress after facing so many man made and natural calamities can never go down.

Perhaps the key is to determine differences between Japanese culture and Pakistani culture

Japanese are all group based one language , Pakistanis are language based
Japanese may have little but even then their streets will sparkle , Pakistanis do not know how to look after what nature has given them

Japanese eat simple food which explains their health, Pakistanis eat food with heavy oil based products effects health
Japanese view , items in a systematic organized iterations , Pakistanis seek a quick short cut
Japanese pay taxes , Pakistanis do not
Japanese invest back in their culture , sports and youth, Pakistanis do not feel its needed rely on aid for it

Japan may be big as only 50% of one of provinces in Pakistan but its GDP is "100 times bigger"

Japanese streets, playgrounds, and public places are all sparking clean, Pakistani places are littered with garbage and plastic bags and druggie syringes in parks

all in all what it points to is the - mentality is based on how they are raised.

normally when you sit in an aircraft right next to Japanese you can see him and differentiate very easily.

the way they sit, sleep eat their food. even the flight garbage they eat so slowly and make it an occasion while i am gobbling it all inside.

They are also very proud of themselves and their culture.

the idea is not to restore the icon but the symbolic meaning , you hardly find historical monuments in japan they tend to make them from natural mateiral which will be changed, but their culture and meaning remains intact.

Japanese are just different breed

When you go to shop the shop keeper treats you like a King .... and counts every penny and hands it to your hand and then bows down ... with a smile

I have never been treated so nicely , Japanese culture is awesome

I went to Pakistani shop there was 20 people and the guy did not even bother to ask me how long I was waiting for in line , that was the last time I went to his shop

They just drill the ideal of "Cuture" honor , and self respect from young age...

Every thing is coordinated - "I mean every thing" since KG ... and it shows

Japanese when they come to stadium they eat their food , and when they are leaving they all , sit and pick up garbage , and they recycle the items and put it in containers.....

In Pakistan , fans eat pan , and spray paint all over with pan ...colors

The strangest thing was when I travelled in trian they all put their bags in a zone ... they all trust each other that no one will steal their bags....

Here when I travel in train , I am always looking out for our indian brothers who might want to get their hands on a new Samsonite bag so I have to lock down my bag with armor

Japanese are best , just too bad they messed up relations with china otherwise things would be super

Japan should form closer relations with its neighbors, mainly China. It's sad they became completely dependent on the US post World War 2. And it's Nagasaki & Hiroshima all over for them again. I feel sad for them. They shouldn't have had nukes in their country after what had already happened to them.

.
My experience with Japanese.

1: Friendly

2: Soft spoken

3: Sensitive and emotional

4: very very well organized and focused.

5: Tidy

6: will keep their promise.
