Imran khan said this here on Sunday while talking to media and demanded the talking sides (Taliban and government) to announce ceasefire for smooth, encouraging and successful negotiations. He underscored that, it was understood that if talks failed then military operation would be launched to restore peace as last resort

Why is he demanding ceasefire from government? Are we doing war with other state ? We should not talk with Stone age animals.. ... Look their strategy from 10 years, they attacks us, weakens our security agencies, when we prepare ourself for military operation, then they offers for peace talk, buys time, talks about sharia, reuniting them , attacks on military and civilians, and Cycle continues.

Question for him , does he still feels that talks have not failed so far ? Gov and Army went for talk with open heart and that is the reason no attacks from army side only self defense (woh bhee limited)

yes that is the logical way
but if you see things, he (IK) is saying if talks fails , now who is going to decide talks failed , its the gov, army or PTI ? i dont think PTI will ack. if gov says talks failed.. PTI will take on personal level that NS was not clear and was working with USA blah blah blah and their intentions were to make these talks fails etc etc...

so for general public , talks failed and that is where PTI need to come on board with the gov as well as army... after his recent blander no one is going to tell IK in private anyway

But his ally, Munawar Hassan doesn't want that. He needs to decide the people around him who he is going to keep and not to keep. If he can do that, people won't get confused with his ideology.

PMLN's ally JUI F also does not want military action also the shadow allies of PMLN that is MQM also wants karachi operation to be stopped but that does not mean PMLN do what its allies says

neither you were asked, nor you or I matter to begin with.. will NW operation be conclusive, when sleeping bed of terrorism is Punjab and Karachi? will Haqqani network be destroyed, will LeJ be eliminated? oh these are State policies, neither made by us nor consulted with general wishes of the people. so whether we join the war-mongers or not, will make no difference. the operation was decided two/three months ago, before APC, when General Raheel Sharif was picked. but my point is this will not better the situation any, as long as the military establish abandon the policy of feeding the snakes aka taliban/LeJ/LeT and other sectarian and militant outfits.

Imran Khan is ultimately nationalist and not islamist. He always supperted military action if talks fail, don't confuse him with jamatis.

This is Imran Khans biggest blunder in politics since he started. He has misread the entire situation.

Why didn't he listen to Zaid Hamid when he was sitting next to him in an interview on TV? Zaid went on for 20 minutes to explain what TTP are. If only he took the time to listen.

He is trying to be Mandela but this is the wrong part of the world my friend. Only one side wins.
