Srinagar: An 18-year-old boy in North Kashmir's Sopore town was shot dead in a mosque on Tuesday night.

Sopore Superintendent of Police Syed Imtiyaz Hussain told IANS Wednesday: "Suhail Ahmad Sofi, resident of Doabgah area of Sopore, was sitting with another boy in the grounds near the local mosque when unidentified militants fired at him.

"However, Suhail escaped the bullets and ran into the mosque. One militant chased him and fired five shots at the boy inside the mosque. Suhail died on the spot. We have registered a case in this regard and investigations have started."

Chief Minister Omar Abdullah tweeted: "Militants chase an 18-year-old boy into a mosque and shoot him. Imagine the outrage if this had been done by security forces #hypocrisy".

Sources say that the preliminary investigation suggests that the teen was shot by members of the terrorist group Lashkar-e-Toiba

As I said before, it could have been anyone. A recent incident to refresh your memory, the border drug smuggler was shown as a Pakistani, but later turned out to be Indian.

Similarly, our news sources mess it all up as well, a attack on personal enmity or land grabbing case gets flared up as something else.

Had it been the army, everyone would have known because they wear uniforms, and I do admit it that all posters would have went on a rampage...and not only posters, the people of Kashmir would also have been raging.

Here too they first claimed India killed this guy (India has not killed any leaders as it obviously backfires duh!) and some kashmiris started their routine tamasha. But the muslim manned kashmir police did a fantastic investigation job and when they exposed LET, LET had to come out and accept responsibility with a conspiracy theory and typical apology.

Lashkar guys have abused the kashmiris and no kashmiri leader has the balls to say anything against them as both these separatist groups and LET get their pay from the same master across the border.

You see, the LeT and other terror groups have the license to kill. After all they are fighting for 'freedom' of the Kashmiris. Even these imported terrorists getting cosy with Kashmiri women is acceptable. But if the security forces even legitimately kill a terrorist (called a 'freedom fighter') then all hell breaks loose with the Hurriyat and their lackeys going to town lambasting India for so called 'human rights violations'!
