Tea To Become The National Drink Of India

We don't put sugar or milk in our tea. :cheesy:

Interestingly, the two places with the highest life expectancy on the planet (Hong Kong and Japan)... both drink a LOT of tea. Since tea is the drink with the most "Antioxidants".

In India we add spices like bay leaves, Cardamon or Ginger in our Milk Tea known as "Masala Tea". There are other varieties like Milk-less Lemon Tea. I love "Darjeeling Tea leaves".

.
In China, we call tea "Cha".

(The pronounciation for this word is the same in both Mandarin and Cantonese).

And in South Asia, you call it "Chai"? How do you pronounce that?

Is it like ch-eye?

It takes a day or two to get used to but I found Chinese tea to be most refreshing , never tried it in HK. Stuck to TsingTao beer.

I think hot tea goes very well with most Chinese food.

Also, TsingTao beer is awesome. It's not from Hong Kong though, it comes from QingDao (hence the name) up North.

US should try-beer as national drink.... heroin as national drug...

. . .
I like Chrysanthemum tea more than normal Chinese tea.

.
I've heard (could be wrong) that you guys also put spices in tea

. .
I prefer black tea over normal one , eventhough it tastes not too good for me :P
