Targeting Indian Oil Refineries

You're now behaving a typical scumbag and changing the topic. The topic is Indian security and made a tall claim that it is not penetrable but I just showed with two posts that was false and nothing but hollow claim for chest thumping even after you received a good beating.
Man I never said Indian security is invincible. By nature it is impossible to be 100% secure. Someone will always find a way to slip through the cracks, as shown by Pulwama. But I hope you realize counter terrorism-policy and military starategy are entirely different? A couple of attackers sneaking into Mumbai harbor or a guy managing to ram an SUV full of explosives into a convoy is different than a Pakistani attack on Indain refineries.

Jamnagar, Essar, Gujarat, Panipat, Guru Gobind Singh Refineries account for about 50% of India's refining capacity and are close to Pakistan. What would be best ways to strike these facilities? Jamnagar and Essar are the closest and represent about 30% of India's oil refining capacity and are less then 130 mi from the Pakistani border. Cruise missiles? Drone Swarm? Stand off munitions? Rockets?
before we take these attacks deeper it would be more hurtful if we attack on border fence it was a billion dollar investment and we can start from right there.

So you finally admit it that your claim was false... Good :)

I don't recall saying we are invincible, I simply said our Coast Guard and Navy are capable of protecting Indian oil refineries. I am still not sure how Mumbai and Pulwama got into this discussion, when those were entirely different situations than what the topic was supposed to be about.

If Pakistan could survive 10 days in war after blockade, then it is substanical if it destroys refineries. But the practicality of it is doubtful. These refineries have heavy Saudi - UAE investments and India being second largest importer of crude oil after China I don't think Pakistan will ever try such a stunt. Besides, we gave SPR that could give us a 10 day time before the fuels are exhausted.

They have already suffered significant economic effects since the standoff began, which is not good considering the IMF and FATf are just around the corner. A full-scale war would be devastating for them economically, and that may be the deciding factor.

In a full fledge war nothing will be off-table and forget about Pakistan's blockade rather worry about Mumbai.. and we will defeat in conventional war as well as non-conventional if needed as we busted your myth of air superiority and your PM & Air Chief started crying for "hay Rafale" and even Israeli & US tech did not help you. But Israel made a song for you...enjoy... great lyrics and nice dancing

Best way is to fantasize how to strike them. What is the problem? Do we not have better things to spent time on then have discussions on such topics?:undecided:

It's called planning. Better be prepared and know what's out there and what can be done about it, instead of singing the songs of peace till bombs start falling on our heads.

I would rather be interested in discussing how to hit these targets without the use of Pakistan armed forces. i.e: Incase of an ongoing conflict where civilians wanna go do some hit n run stuff...

It's good to have a positive thinking. But that alone don't win wars. Superior technology and numbers do. First fix your inflation and debt ridden economy. If you had it in you, we'd already be at war.

Yes, except a full scale war will be devastating for india economically as well. Pakistan has little to lose, we are already recovering from the lowest levels. indians have everything to lose.

Try and see if you can inject that in your mind while fantasizing about one side of things...

Excuse me? When did numbers won a war? Superior tech plays a role yes but is a complete waste in the hands of an inept force. Like what india has done to all of its latest tech and acquisitions and got beaten left and right by an airforce it used to look down upon.

As for if we had it in us? Ain;t your country always bitching about Pakistan damaging it here and there and taking revenge? Ain;t they always bitching Pakistan started all wars? Ain't they always bitching that Pakistan came, they saw, they captured hundreds of peaks in Kargil, and what could your folk do? Try to win them back by throwing wave after wave? If it was any country and force with balls, they would have opened up the entire border, but knowing indians lack what it takes to be men in the battleground, our Generals didn;t hesitate capturing those peaks.

Tell me which other nation in the world has a neighbor 10 times smaller than its size who goes and captures peaks in its territory? Which other country has a neighbor that small who goes in with 25 jets, bombs its land, comes back all fine, and downs two of its fighters, and yet the big *** lady lacks what it takes to go to war?

Actually, you are right. Even though Pakistan will be hurt more, India will have more to lose simply because our economy is already much bigger. The bigger you are, the harder you fall. which is why although India will not be hurt as much, the damages will not be tolerated as well by both the public and the political establishment. One of the main reasons why there will never be a full-scale war. Off course, the key word here is long term. In the short, term, damages to India will be insignificant but serious to Paksitan given the current state of its economy. Which is why standoffs like this past one are more damaging to Pakistan than some want to admit. The fact is Pakistan has suffered major losses this month on both the economic and diplomatic front.

And what makes you think I am fantasizing? I am just trying to dispel the fantasies some other members are having. this whole thread was a fantasy in the first place

I don't know why you are talking about Kargil, because we captured all the peaks you took and actually took several on your side of the working boundary. In no way can KArgil be considered a success by Pakistan. But that is again off topic.

and I don't know why Pakistani are talking tough, given that tactically, their military has failed in its objectives over the past several wars. If that were not the case, the entirety of Kashmir would be in Pakistan, and Bangladesh would still be a part of Pakistan. For all the tough talking, PAkistanis have relatively little to show.

I'm talking about Kargil as an example of willingness of Pakistani forces to go and challenge india, a foe 10 times larger in size. Which means either, they know indians totally lack the capability to strike back, or they know they can sustain a full border war with india.
And inability of india to punish the smaller neighbor in a way it won't dare enter their border again.

Which is in response to the other guy claiming we didn't have it in us.

Your own government accepts 25 Pakistani jets violated indian airspace and went in and bombed, and then got back out and atleast one jet and pilot were lost in the process. Tell me of any other nation carrying a bit of honor to just let that go?

As for the tough talking. We have a neighbor that keeps bitching over and over and wants to remove us from the map of the world. She is 10 times bigger and has a loud mouth but little to back it up with. She deceives her own public who praise her day and night as some goddess without questioning the logic.
And we on the other hand live in a place where we are told what's going on, we question and get answers, and we don't just follow things blindly.
So we have plenty of reasons for talking tough, and in particular the most recent events of violating our neighbor in the east, entering with 25 jets, bombing, luring and downing a couple of her fighters, and watching her continue what she does best.
And here the world thought she was some kind of "super power wannabe" and now a laughing stock of international reporting...

Israel.

Yup thank you.
Just like the Israelis keep their larger Arab neighbors busy, we keep ours.
IT's called balls, just because some one is bigger and fatter in size doesn't mean they'll carry bigger balls.
