wise thing to do see what pakistan did AK 1 was sucees got them in 2000 number now making AK 2 but india only got few arjuns not in 100 and want to go for arjun 2 thats show that the arjun 1 is failure what u have to say that indian army officialy said they dont want the arjun even u people keep saying that insas is best rifle and that best rifle indian army want to replace in few years time sir DRDO making fool of indian 70 percent of its projects is just scrap metal

Did Pakistan have any choice other than Al Khalid???? Next T-90 was an Alternative for Arjun When Arjun FAILED to Prove itself in the late 2000's.... And 300+ Arjuns were on order..... Well thats Enough for DRDO to get funds and Motivation to go ahead with MK2....

If Army Would not have made a deal for T-90's we would Obviously see that much Arjun in Our custody.....

But as the Deal has been signed, One has to Move out, And Its Arjun MK1, and Army would wait for Arjun MK2 to get ready.... As simple as that.... You might call it a failed product, Yes it is, it failed to Take the Spot Of T-90....

And INSAS, Sorry dear, Open another thread... I will gladly tell u its advantages and Dis advantages..... and why its intended to be replaced....

And Sir Jee, DRDO is an R&D organization which takes both Civilian and Military Aspects.... And We have been Delaying only in our First Projects....

We have many Private firms Coming up into defense.

so how many AK do you think pakistan army has pakistan got 1500 and 500 under development friend do some research before you reply friend AK even its varient been used by world's biggest army it is not a joke or toy
