I had to clarify this as many people consider taliban as a pashtun phenomena. The talibans who attacked malala yousafzai were saying that her thoughts were against pakhtun ways...which is simply bs...aajkal pathano ko agar gaali di jati he tu usey taliban kaha jata he...so i posted these articles by farhat taj to clear misconceptions....

Talibanization has been inocculated in few Pashtoons.......but it never means that all Pashtun are terrorists or Talibans. Pashtuns are the people who are fond of Dance, Music, Good Food, Good friends, Guests serving/hospitality, good poetry and many more things which may not harm anyone........A nation having such trends can never be terrorist.

Refrain yourself to supply those guns which they are giving to us.....and give us books and schools only. Simple. No strategic games in our areas, for a stronger Pakistan

Rora, do you think that because of the alleged discrimination in Afghanistan against the Pashtuns whether it be in the ANA or the Bureaucracy a perception of sorts may have been built that suggests that the Taliban (Afghan Taliban) are, in addition to fighting NATO & the ISAF forces, are fighting for Pashtuns too ! Maybe thats where a little of Pashtun Nationalism maybe, though erroneously, associated with them ?
