Talibanic Wild fires in Afghanistan and their impact on Pakistan FATA

Talibanic wild fires have engulfed Afghani south for many years now. Like an out of control fire, or more aptly like a deadly cancer it has been spreading into three agencies of Pakistan. These agencies include N. Wazirastan, S. Wasirastan, and Bajore area of Malakand agency.

Pakistan has try to "contain" this cancer by selectively taking out talibanic supporters in the three agencies. However this is just a partial and short term solution.

A surgeon operating on a breast cancer patient cannot treat her until all the cancerous nodes including the one in the breast are totally removed. However if you take out the cancer in the arms or abdomen, but leave the breast cancer intact, you will be fighting a losing battle.

Similarly Pakistan can fight Waziris and Bajoris with all its might, but the Talibanic cancer won't go away. We must take out this cancer right from the Talibanic heartland of Kandhar.

We should do it soon, otherwise our cities like Bannu, Kohat, DI Khan, and Peshawar will soon resemble the Talibanic jannat cities of Kabul, Jalalabad, Kandhar etc.

zzzz. Nothing's going to happen like that. Your analogy is flawed anyway. They're not unstoppable, they are good at some types of fighting. Anyway, they don't move from their region, they don't even cross the border much

Yes its true they are spreading in all of FATA and nearby cities of NWFP. But their role is not like Afghanistan,s Taliban where they fight US and NATO forces. Their main compaign looks against social evils prevailing in their own areas of drug trade, car lifting and gangs involved in abductings etc. They have brought the areas with zero crimes where government,s Political Agents were failed despite the enormous power of 40 FCR in their hands.
Internally they have problem with PA in Waziristan from where they want to organise and infilterate in Afghanistan to fight against foreign forces.

So you agree that Pakistani Taliban are spreading anarchy as well. That's the bottom line.

Taliban in Pakistan must be stopped otherwise they will burn down Kohat, Banuu, and Peshawar just like their Afghan counterparts have burned down Kabul, Kandhar, and Jalalabad.
