Taliban Shura decides to target media outlets, journalists

Is it difficult to recognize one’s ugly image when shown the mirror? Isn’t one of the job of the journalists and the media is to show the mirror to the people in all sections of the society. Should we be surprised at the Taliban’s response? I guess not. What is surprising is that they needed to have a justification for their senseless violence through a shura! The only way all can stay safe from these ruthless killers is by standing united against them. And the message to them should be should be straight and simple: “give up your violent ways and become a productive member of the community or be neutralized by the security forces.”
