Why are Pakistanis so desperate to refer to Afghans as brothers? Afghans dislike Pakistan and given any chance they will attack and kill Pakistanis.

As long as the Taliban don’t mess with Pakistan and it’s interests it’s no big deal; it’s just the same as it was before for Pakistan, a border we need to watch. At least the Taliban are promising not to let afghan soil be used against us, the Afghan government clearly can’t manage that, so hopefully these guys will have better luck, otherwise Pakistan can take matters into its own hands, something it couldn’t do with the Afghan government because of their joke of “sovereignty”

If they do try to mess with us…well let’s just say nobody in the world would mind a Pakistani drone dropping a missile on then.

I truly hope the senior security leadership have learnt a valuable lesson. The past 20 years have brought immense misery, death, destruction and humiliation to Pakistan. Need to secure the entire western front with Afghanistan and Iran.

Looks like the Taliban is isolating Kabul from all sides!!! If all the border posts belong to the Taliban it's the checkmate!!!! As for Pak, what's occurring now can take place only in the dreams....

Their tactics is more effective now compared to the 1994-1996 war and it seems as if they are using the turkish crescent tactics.. Surrounding the enemy in a circle formation and putting them inside that circle

Seems like at the border post at Paktia, Pakistan border, the big guns are pointed towards Kabul against the Ghani establishment...and not towards Pakistan.

Talibans are now the first line of defence.

Suddenly the border attacks from Afghanistan has all stopped...

Bajaur had the highest frequency of cross border attacks by TTP I hope IEA puts a leash on TTP.

Expect an increase in drone and PGM strikes from land and air. If plans are authorised, we have to be proactive.
