What kind of strategic depth does Afghanistan offer to India that they are so desperate to hold their feet in Afghanistan. I mean it's understandable for Pakistan which shares a 1000-Km plus border with Afghanistan and it effects Pakistan whatever happens in Afghanistan, because everyone then runs towards tribal areas and create problem for us or we have to face refuge problems.

Fact 1) we will not tolerate a hostile pro-Pakistan govt in A-stan.
Fact 2) unless and until our national security objectives are answered, we will continue to harm Pakistan's interests internationally and in Afghanistan.

India doesn't deserve strategic depth in Afghanistan since it cannot offer it.

Pakistan offers Afghanistan strategic depth and Afghanistan offers Pakistan strategic depth.

If the US and Karzai are serious about resolving the conflict, then these three facts have to addressed to the satisfaction of Pakistan.

Pro India is not Anti Pakistan. Sooner or later India and Pakistan need to reach a lasting peace. This needs to happen yesterday! Afghanistan can be a catalyst in that. Afghanistan does not need to be pro Pakistan or pro India. It needs to be pro Afghanistan. In your proxy war please do not put their interests in back burner!
