Taken 2 movie shot in Istanbul

If it's a French movie than we are probably some barbarians or some third world country :) that could explain the 90 model taxi too :P

it's flattering to see how much trouble people get in just to throw mud at us :)

Anyway, i hate to be prejudical but i am really not interested in watching this, looks boring. After battleship disappointment im certainly not looking forward to wasting my time.

By the way this is one of the crappiest movies i've ever seen DON'T watch it:

It can annoy you even further if you have slightest understanding of naval warfare. Not even worth downloading the DVD

The lead actor Liam Neeson enjoyed his stay in Turkey so much, he has considered converting to Islam. He liked the Azan or call to prayer very much.

And i don't believe this, they just spread these rumors for marketing of another crap movie.

I don't know if it is french production but Taken 1 was shot in France. The Arabs and Albanians
were the bad guys, human trafficking, etc. It really sucks if you are Albanian if you watch this movie. Those guys are getting painted black in the "Taken" movie series. Don't know exactly how those Albanians are connected to Istanbul in this movie. I'm wondering how they are going to portrey the Turks. If I were Turkey, I wouldn't give them permision to film in Turkey if they were going to paint us black.

**** happens, the film industry earns a lot of movie by portraying Turkey as a bad place. Just look at Midnight Express. I think the only way to counter these negative images is through good modern drama series and movies. And then just spread it like a disease to all over the world.

Turkey has already sold one drama to a US-latino tv network. And they're going to rewrite the names etc. to fit the latinos. This is not how you promote your country, I wish the turkish film industry or tv network would at least make all the series available with english subs, but then they'd miss out on profits. So I can understand that part as well.
