He was knighted in 1915, but after the massacre on the India in 1919, not with their cavalry demonstrators repentance according to all political activities and principles of nationalist movements. independence, Gandhi was involved with them.

After a brief period of glory in the West and once the distance of his cavalry, written in English, Tagore traveled in a kind of darkness. Recently, some editors and translators have understood that Tagore is actually a modernist writer, despite the earlier study, which are published sentimental or mystical Edwardian style.

Their previous translations and works of Tagore is likely to sing again for modern readers of English to improve.

We want to draw your attention to two recent English translation: "Selected Poems" William Radice (Penguin ISBN 0-14-018366-3), as well as the writings of news and others, "the foundation of a house" seal (bag of classic books), edited by Tarun Gupta Amya Chakravarty and then captured and Mary of the Lake.

Brother...I have seen the Tagore post stamps as well lol, it is simply the works of the government. And now you've posted a picture of women who all look Hindu. If there's one group who would show appraisal to Tagore it's the Hindu's of BD, after all he was a Hindu. He's not praised like other Kobis in BD owing to the fact that he was foreign, from West Bengal, India.

Also the awami type cultural-personalities have immense love for Rabinbranath, I know someone who has all the collection of Rabindranath worth of 10k+, and a pure Bangali, Bongobondhu and Awami lover by soul, and his behavior contains anti-Muslim sentiments.

Actually, the more problem is Bangladeshi Rabindra lovers, not Rabindranath. Because they believe in apar-opar crap!

I agree that our anthem needs to be changed, because it is written by an Indian.

So, as a first step, we can start with not standing when our Anthem is sung!

Tagore's texts are a threat to Bangladesh's national security. Extreme Tagore sympathizers should be exterminated as an example for the rest of them, he should be exterminated from Muslim Bengal.
Absolutely agree... Tagore's text are a threat indeed...

That indeed is brilliant Idea, Bangladesh should eliminate Tagore from it's culture... this is a very good initiative.

This song would be better suited for West Bengal's national anthem. Agree?

He was given BD nationality too, unlike Rabindranth.

Your can choose whatever you want, that doesn't concern us at all... but relinquishing ties with Tagore is good development, association of Tagore with Bangladesh has always irked us... and as the other member said, it would be nicer if cities were named after mughal and afghan warlords to... would love see cities named abdali ghori, as our other neighbor does.

Rabindranath died in 1941, genius....even there was no India, as we see it today at that time, let alone Bangladesh.Have some shame, digging the grave of such a great personality..

As I said before, his writing is not a problem, but a group of people here wants to materialize Tagore's views nationwide that is actually loyal to India ignoring the sentiments of majority people here.

Its time to rename Al-Bangladesh...! Kindly never associate our Tagore with ur country anymore..!
