The biggest problem had been Shaun Masood, I don't know what this idiot is doing at the top of the table with 120 strike rate. No other team would have someone with such strike rate for no 3.
He scored 52 but he wasted 42 balls with strike rate of 123.8. compared to it Kohli held the inning together too, but in the final analysis he took 53 balls for his 82 with s rate of 154.7. That's where the game was lost, you cannot have your main better taken up almost 18 overs of the game and going with 123 strike rates, you will lose more match with this approach then win it.
Second, most important aspect of Pakistani cricket, not only in this match is their lack of preparation and also mental conditioning. They don't read the game, they always try to win on the basis of personal brilliance. You may win some matches with that approach, but you will lose most watches against a good opposition.
Third, comes to bottling it. Rauf lost it in the last two balls of his last over, there the match turned. They knew Nawaz is kept for the last over, they had to give him at least over 20 runs to play with in the last over. If Rauf saved one of the sixes, Pak win easy.
Even Nawaz lost the bottle in the end, the high noball wasn't a no ball, the ball was dying and would have been blow the waist line, but the umpire got pressurised because it was Kohli/India. India had ICC and Umpire under their thumbs. Technically, the 3 runs after the ball strike the stumps should had been declared a dead ball. But again the umpire buckled. And due to it Pakistan lost.
