Türk mühendisleri tarafından geliştirilen İnsansız Hava Aracı (İHA) ANKA, yine Türk mühendislerinin tasarımı olan CİRİT füzesini başarıyla ateşledi. Testler, Eskişehir’in Sivrihisar ilçesi yakınlarındaki askeri meydandan yapıldı.

MİLLİ SAR RADARI İLE DONATILACAK

Blok-A ya göre daha hafif bir gövdeye ve 30 bin feet yani 10 bin metre irtifa tavanı ile 24 saat havada kalış süresine sahip olacak olan ANKA-B'ye Milli SAR/MTI-ISAR radar entegrasyon çalışmaları ise devam ediyor. ANKA-B'nin SAR/MTI-ISAR radar faydalı yükü ile gerçekleştireceği ilk test uçuşunun ise 2014 yılının ikinci yarısında yapılması planlanıyor.

Assymmetric targets differ from military targets. M230 uses HEI (HE Incendiary) and HEDP (HE Dual Purpose). These rounds are specifically designed for anti-material, anti-armor roles. This includes fortified targets as well. M230's primary role is to deliver his ammunition with penetration of the target with a high accuracy. A typical chain gun against all purpose military threats.

Whereas 20mm has a smaller caliber but higher rate of fire and has many varieties of ammunition types as well. It is more effective than the 30mm against assymmetric threats.

One of the critical demands of Turkish Army for such a gunship is the effective intervention to insurgents at geographically hard conditions and mountainous area. That's why we have gone with 20mm instead of 30mm. But didn't underestimate the need of such firepower. That's where Cirit comes to help.

2,5" Cirit laser guided rockets will be used against the targets that are in the focus of 30mm.

Gatling gun takes 0.5 seconds to spin up to full fire rate so that kinda negates it's higher RPM compared to the M230 and most scenarios you are going to fire 1 to 2 second bursts.

M230 and Apache does not use HEI rounds

Thanks a lot,this is the answer i needed.I guess both can screw up your day but a gatling gun will be more effective against a few PKK pigs who has no armor.
