The point of view is very superficial. And China is not able to do make jet engine as good as westerns did.
Don't always mention China when you talk about Turkey,China atl least have 3 kinds of turboshaft engine cover the power from 1200KW to 1600KW and is researching two new engines of 2000KW and 5000KW,we don't have engine problem for the 15 tones class or lighter helicopter.

Its looks like a barracuda...

Bro, you should email this suggestion to TAI. This helicopter will of course be given a calling name.

T929 Atak-2: as a completely ITAR-free attack platform, from engines to avionics, from unique munitions to ground&maintenance and logistics, it will be a valuable breakthrough not only for Turkey, but also for countries with similar conditions as TR.

Curious question. are all FAZ-2 deliveries identical? I noticed that the one we are getting for the philippines, does not seem have a "lens" in the two front nose additional sections. and it is the same for the police one.

While the land forces one seems to have a "lens"

are these omissions? or are they just "closed"?

Gents, I came across this video today that mentioned Turkish Police using gunships. Any ideas on how would operating military gunships help civilian police?

Sadly No Atak helicopters for Pakistan...:(

Thats up to the US, Philippines got their helicopters already, Pakistan needs to better diplomacy, they should leverage their influence over Afghanistan and cooperation with the US on these matters as well as permission that they gave to the US for use of airspace to get export clearance for the helicopter engines.
