T-129 Atak & Turkish Attack Helicopter Programs

We should publish such videos for block btö propaganda but Tsk dont do this. Whereas Tsk has many videos.
TSK dont publish direct kill videos. İf you watch the video again, you will see, there are three kills on the left probably passed away by the first helikopter. This video belongs to second round.

Well we should, I still don't get why we don't

Seems like recoil of the cannon pushes the helicopter off target to the right slightly, gunner readjusts left.. With experience gunner will hopefully understand the system and anticipate recoil forces acting on the helicopter to get more rounds on target.. Not bad for 600 meter burst, they all seemed to land where gunners crosshairs were :)

Nah, doesn't look like recoil, looks like joystick control. If you look close, just before the canon starts firing the aim point is too far to the left and still moving left so the gunner tries re-centering but overcompensates.

it's recoil, check 4:50 in this video to see effects of cannon firing

Ofcourse recoil has that effect on the airframe, but that's not what's seen in the earlier video. That is joystick control. Joystick control and recoil-driven deviation look very different through the optics.

Both videos correlate and confirm recoil to have an effect on the weapon platform. Recoil force on a gatling type weapon is constant due to it's high rate of fire, there is no AK-47 or G3 like recoil effect that you're looking for.

Exactly. The "force" shown in the gunner's view video is not constant. That's one of the many reasons why it isn't showing recoil force. Another reason is that the "recoil force" ceases to exist while the gun is still firing. That last point is definitive.

It is a constant force hence why the co-pilot/gunner is incrementally readjusting/battling the recoil force left throughout footage.. And for your "recoil force ceases to exist" it doesn't, the 5 ton helicopter moving at speed towards the target is negating recoil, but it's still 'existing' for it to cease the gunner must stop pulling on the trigger that is firing the cannon.

Sigh. You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink it.

IMO gunner just made a sudden movement with the joystick but oh well
