They claim that attack was repelled by Soviet S-124, S-200, Buk and Kvadrat. But Syria has 36 Pantsyr's specially designed to shoot down cruise missiles. So they are saying that Assadists did not use the most effective weapon they have. None of 36. Obviously its pathetic and silly lie.

PS. another lie is that Syrian Buks are from M2 modification. Thats after fall of USSR.

The UK-based monitoring group, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, says the Syrian army's air defences intercepted more than 65 missiles fired by the US, the UK and France.

It said the targets fired at included:

That video didn’t actually show anything, we could see something that appears to be missiles flying across the sky but it’s unclear who they belonged to and towards the end of the video they displayed into the distance.

There are plenty of videos of what appears to be missiles being intercepted.

I see no point in making face-saving excuses for these matters. We can notice AA gunfire in some videos but no concrete evidence of intercepts taking place.

At a closer look, I think that a number of videos are actually showing Tomahawk cruise missiles passing over Damascus and other regions (and then you hear sounds of explosions soon after). However, since the attacks occurred in the cover of darkness, there is ample confusion about what is happening.

Destroying and intercepting 13 drones in a swarm attack would be considerably a success considering Israel could not even intercept 1 drone.

Stop already, you have proven to be a laughing stock by now, you literally don’t know a flare from a missile, a triple-A gun from a missile or how a proximity fuse works.

I have stated before, that the majority of missiles hit their target. Syria does not have the ability to stop such a swarm, so by you posting a video showing cruise missiles hitting targets proves nothing.

There is countless videos that show missiles exploding in the air. The only way a missile explodes in the air is if the proximity fuse is triggered.....

You’re acting like this is something unheard of, Syria just downed an Israeli F-16 and a Turkish F-4 terminator in 2012. The same air defenses shot down thousands of aircraft in various conflicts, the US lost over 2,200 aircraft in Vietnam.

There are dozens of videos of Russia conducting drills in which they shoot down missiles with air defenses, it’s what they’re designed to do.

Mortar fire claim was another lie, because there are no rebels closer than 40 km to hat base. According to Russian reporter Saponkov 5 planes were destroyed. 2 were killed. Thats major fail and humiliation for heavily defended airbase.

Israel intercepted many drones, including Iranian super duper stealth.

When the bias Syrian abservatory is reporting more then 65 cruise missiles intercepted then something has to give.


Everyone is reporting that cruise missiles were shot down, Russia, Syria and the Syrian Observatory, even the US implied there was “resistance.”
