I repeat: UN resolution was not just about no fly zone. It allowed aerial attacks as well:

4. Authorizes Member States that have notified the Secretary-General,
acting nationally or through regional organizations or arrangements, and acting in
cooperation with the Secretary-General, to take all necessary measures,
notwithstanding paragraph 9 of resolution 1970 (2011), to protect civilians and
civilian populated areas under threat of attack in the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya,
including Benghazi, while excluding a foreign occupation force of any form on any
part of Libyan territory, and requests the Member States concerned to inform the
Secretary-General immediately of the measures they take pursuant to the
authorization conferred by this paragraph which shall be immediately reported to
the Security Council;

Exactly, or protection against the "rebels". There are loads of reported and filmed cases of ethnic cleansing, torture, rapes, and even genocide - West happily ignores it. Some HR organizations thrown upon these news, but do you hear anything from UNSC, will they bomb the "rebels"? Of course not, thats how these games are played.

"Guilty side" are accused (Syria, Iran, Libya, etc), and even if alleged crimes are never proven, West demonize victims like reincarnations of Hitler. But when West or their alies do crimes against humanity (which actually are proven), nobody in UN blinks the eye. Thats the sad truth - NATO and UNSC are just tools for few powerful countries to extend their influence, by any means.
