Two Swiss reportedly kidnapped in Pakistan

Armed men on Friday kidnapped two Swiss in south-west Pakistan, news agencies reported.

The two Swiss, who had travelled from Islamabad, entered Baluchistan province around 5pm local time and “had been registered by police at a check point”, a local government official said.

Their abandoned vehicle was later found near Minara, in the Loralai district, about 170 kilometres north-west of the province capital Quetta.

According to the government official, the area is home to large numbers of Afghan refugees.

The Swiss foreign ministry said late on Friday afternoon that it had received no information about the incident.

Actually it is the incompetent govt of Pakistan who is responsible for all this. First Zia let these idiots to spread in our town and cities. Then after that no govt tried to separate these idiots from Pakistani society. If today Pakistani govt decides that it will take action against all criminals irrespective of their creed or race, these criminals can easily be crushed. Some people continue to visit Pakistan because it is really addictive. I know of atleast 30 foreigners who come to see the Shandur Festival each year. Oh and you stand more of a chance of being raped in South Africa than being the victim of a terrorist act in Pakistan.

Why u all guyz are after these poor pitiful pplz....trying to survive in our landz...U all guyz shold be generous to them and help them in their problems....they are not responsible for anything wrong.....that area is lawless barren area....ppl kidnapp pplz over there for ransom....got no jobs nothing to do ....
God forbidz that such time comes on us that we have to migrate to another country to save our lives.....we will be facing the same conditions as these pitiful refugees......
