Sweden is planning to ask the
European Union
to probe the origin of the
Covid-19
pandemic, in a move that would potentially add further strain onto the Nordic nation’s already tense relations with China.
This follows similar remarks made by US,
Australian
and German leaders who demanded further information on the virus’s origin from the Beijing authorities, who have insisted the task should be left to scientists, not politicians.
“When the global situation of Covid-19 is under control, it is both reasonable and important that an international, independent investigation be conducted to gain knowledge about the origin and spread of the coronavirus,” Sweden’s health minister Lena Hallengren wrote in a reply to the parliament on Wednesday.

“It is also important that the entire international community’s handling of the Covid-19 pandemic, including the World Health Organisation, is [to be] investigated,” said Hallengren. “Sweden is happy to raise this issue within the framework of EU cooperation.”

Sweden’s foreign minister Ann Linde suggested that any investigation in the World Health Organisation (WHO) should take place after the pandemic is over.
“We think the WHO is doing an important job now, so we think it’s not the time right now for accountability, but for letting them do their work in this pandemic,” Linde said in a webinar hosted by the think tank Atlantic Council on Wednesday, stressing that it did not mean Sweden was “happy” about the organisation’s work.

Sweden has previously criticised a Chinese state media report that condemned the Swedish response to the coronavirus.

Without referring to the incident, Linde said: “It’s also important that [Europe and the US] together go against the tendencies of using the pandemic for authoritarian governments and regimes to hinder democracy, rule of law, freedom for journalists … including quite a lot of disinformation.

“Sweden has also seen that rather clearly … from some of the big countries who want to give a picture of a fragmented Europe, of [a] government that is not taking responsibility because it’s in their … political interest, that after the pandemic those regimes seem stronger, for example being able to say it’s more easy for an authoritarian government to solve those problems than for a democratic government.”

China sentences Hong Kong bookseller Gui Minhai to 10 years in jail
Sweden’s ties with China were already tense before the outbreak of the coronavirus. Stockholm has repeatedly asked for Beijing’s release of
Gui Minhai
, a Swedish national who ran a publishing business in Hong Kong.

In February, Gui was sentenced to 10 years in prison by a Chinese court. An official statement added that Gui would not appeal.

“Sweden probably had the worst relationship with China in Europe when the pandemic struck earlier this year. The health crisis didn’t so far provide opportunities for mending ties,” said Björn Jerdén, head of the Asia programme at the Swedish Institute of International Affairs.

“Rather, the important issues of disagreement are still there and Sweden’s public debate on China has hardened further.”

It is unclear if other EU countries will follow Sweden’s call for an investigation, but a general mood of hostility between Europe and China is growing.

In France, the Chinese ambassador, Lu Shaye, took to Twitter on Wednesday to criticise French journalists based in China.

“French journalists posted in China always report something else. This gives an impression to the French public that China is a very bad country; everything happens there is against humanity, lack of human rights, lack of freedom,” the embassy quoted him as saying.

Coronavirus: Can China overcome global mistrust to lead the fight against Covid-19
Lu also accused the French media of lacking independence, in an interview with French newspaper L’Opinion.

“In my impression, the French are independent, the French media are independent. But this time, they are still following the Americans very closely. Each time, the Americans launch an accusation, throw an allegation, the French media certainly report them a day or two days later.”

Earlier this month, Lu was summoned by French foreign minister Jean-Yves Le Drian after the embassy spread disinformation about French health care workers abandoning their job and leaving old people to die.

Calls for China’s ambassador to be thrown out of Sweden amid diplomatic storm
  • Gui Congyou lashed out at local media in an interview on the weekend, saying they ‘have a habit of criticising, accusing and smearing China’
  • He has been summoned for a meeting at the foreign ministry on Tuesday, and three Swedish parties have called for him to be expelled

Sweden’s government has demanded a meeting with the ambassador for China after he lambasted Swedish media.

Ambassador Gui Congyou
caused a diplomatic furore
over the weekend after giving an interview to Sweden’s public broadcaster SVT, in which he said that some local media representatives “have a habit of criticising, accusing and smearing China”.
He went on to compare the relationship between Swedish media and China to one in which “a 48kg weight boxer keeps challenging an 86kg weight boxer to a fight”.

Three parties in Sweden’s parliament have now called for Gui to be thrown out of the Nordic country, adding to tensions ahead of a meeting scheduled to take place with the ambassador at the foreign ministry in Stockholm on Tuesday.

Swedish Foreign Minister Ann Linde has already ruled out the option of expelling Gui. But she also made clear Sweden would not accept veiled threats from China.

Relations between the two countries have soured recently over jailed Chinese-born Swedish publisher Gui Minhai, who was honoured last year by the Swedish chapter of PEN International with its annual Tucholsky Prize.

Gui Minhai, who has written several books that are critical of China’s leadership, has been detained since late 2015 by Chinese authorities, who accuse him of crimes including “operating an illegal business”.

Gui Congyou says Minhai is a “lie-fabricator” who “committed serious offences in both China and Sweden”. He also said Swedish media “is full of lies” about the case and that the Tucholsky Prize, which was handed out by Sweden’s minister of culture,
would result in Chinese “countermeasures”
.

The spat comes amid a more assertive diplomatic stance from China, which dominates global export markets and is one of Sweden’s most important trade partners. In neighbouring Norway, the decision to award the Nobel Peace Prize in 2010 to
Chinese activist Liu Xiaobo
led to a deep-freeze of diplomatic relations that lasted more than half a decade and hurt trade. In 2018, Sweden exported goods and services to China worth 67 billion kronor (US$7 billion), making it the Nordic country’s eighth-largest export market.

Gui Congyou, who was appointed ambassador to Sweden in 2017, has repeatedly angered lawmakers in the country with his remarks over the years. Commenting on Swedish media’s coverage of Gui Minhai, Gui Congyou in December cited a Chinese proverb: “We treat our friends with fine wine, but we have shotguns for our enemies.”

The ambassador’s latest remarks prompted the nationalist Sweden Democrats as well as the Christian Democrats and the Left Party to demand that he be thrown out.

Ha.......ha.

The immigrants in sweden will do the rest :D Just be patient.

It's a political move.

Because right now, scientist around the world is working on it.

The thing that we are discussing here as well.

Coronavirus: China rejects call for probe into origins of disease

"China has rejected calls for an independent international investigation into the origin of the coronavirus.

A top diplomat in the UK, Chen Wen told the BBC the demands were politically motivated and would divert China's attention from fighting the pandemic.

Information about the origin of Covid-19 and how it initially spread could help countries tackle the disease.

The virus is thought to have emerged at a wildlife market in the city of Wuhan late last year.

Meanwhile an EU report accuses China of spreading disinformation about the crisis.

The bloc's External Action Service says Russia, and to a lesser extent China, have "targeted conspiracy narratives" in the EU and neighbouring countries.

US President Donald Trump has also repeatedly attacked China for its handling of the outbreak, and the state of Missouri is suing the Chinese government, accusing it of doing little to stop the spread of the virus.

Scientists have poured cold water on speculation that the virus could have been engineered in a Wuhan laboratory."

"But Ms Chen told the BBC her country could not agree to any international investigation.

"The independent inquiry is politically motivated," she said.

"We are fighting the virus at the moment, we are concentrating all our efforts on fighting against the virus. Why talk about an investigation into this? This will divert not only attention, it will divert resources.

"This is a politically motivated initiative, I think no-one can agree on this... It would serve nobody any good."

Ms Chen said there were lots of rumours about the origins of the virus but such misinformation was dangerous, she claimed, and said it was like a political virus and as dangerous as coronavirus itself, if not even more so.

If you are following the news since the beginning.

There was an intense investigation of the origin of the virus.

That lead to the infamous Wuhan Seafood Market.

As well as the closure of Wuhan Lab.

There was also an investigation by the international teams, to find the animal that has the closest genetic with coronavirus down even to SE Asia.

The closest only animal they can found is pangolin.

But still, it's not the animal, as it's just 97% similar, not 100% similar.

If pangolin is the source, there must be an outbreak in SE Asia as well.

Of course, China didn't found anything.

As the genetic test suggested, Wuhan virus is just the Group B.

There is the older version which is Group A outside China.

If you want to find the origin of the virus, you must search the origin of the Group A, which is the oldest.

From there, we can narrow the search to the animal around the area.

Ok, so its ONLY 97% of the genetic corona virus is related to the bats and 98% for Pangdolin.

"By January 7 the Wuhan team had determined that the new virus had indeed caused the disease those patients suffered—a conclusion based on results from analyses using polymerase chain reaction, full genome sequencing, antibody tests of blood samples and the virus’s ability to infect human lung cells in a petri dish. The genomic sequence of the virus, eventually named SARS-CoV-2, was 96 percent identical to that of a coronavirus the researchers had identified in horseshoe bats in Yunnan. Their results appeared in a paper published online on February 3 in Nature. “It’s crystal clear that bats, once again, are the natural reservoir,” says Daszak, who was not involved in the study."

"To many, the region’s burgeoning wildlife markets—which sell a wide range of animals such as bats, civets, pangolins, badgers and crocodiles—are perfect viral melting pots. Although humans could have caught the deadly virus from bats directly (according to several studies, including those by Shi and her colleagues), independent teams have suggested that pangolins may have been an intermediate host. These teams have reportedly uncovered SARS-CoV-2-like coronaviruses in pangolins that were seized in antismuggling operations in southern China.

On February 24 China announced a permanent ban on wildlife consumption and trade except for research, medicinal or display purposes—which will stamp out an industry worth $76 billion and put approximately 14 million people out of jobs, according to a 2017 report commissioned by the Chinese Academy of Engineering. Some welcome the initiative, whereas others, such as Daszak, worry that without efforts to change people’s traditional beliefs or to provide alternative livelihoods, a blanket ban may simply push the business underground. This could make disease detection even more challenging. “Eating wildlife has been part of the cultural tradition” in China for thousands of years, Daszak says. “It won’t change overnight.”

In any case, Shi says, “wildlife trade and consumption are only part of problem.” In late 2016 pigs across four farms in Qingyuan County in Guangdong—60 miles from the site where the SARS outbreak originated—suffered from acute vomiting and diarrhea, and nearly 25,000 of the animals died. Local veterinarians could not detect any known pathogen and called Shi for help. The cause of the illness—swine acute diarrhea syndrome (SADS)—turned out to be a virus whose genomic sequence was 98 percent identical to that of a coronavirus found in horseshoe bats in a nearby cave."

It could be.

But still, Wuhan case is mostly in Group B.

I think the case you mentioned above is just one part of the giant puzzle.

If I can find any article mentioned the origin of Group A, which is the grandfather of Group B, will help a lot narrow the search area.

I think... based on my theory.

Coronavirus had been circulating in the animal world for a long time ago.

Infecting many kinds of animals and mutated.

Each year, their mutation is getting closer to human, before finally really jumping to humans in the case of SARS and MERS.

And finally the perfect version, COVID-19.

I don't think it's just because of human habit for eating exotic food.

Because SARS came from chicken and MERS from camel.

It could be coming from pig, cow, and rat as well.

It's just a matter of time, when and where it's going to jump to humans.

As it widely spread.

I think many scientists in the virology field, especially those who deal with coronavirus know something that the public doesn't know since SARS outbreak and the investigation by the Bat Woman (I forget her name).

Since then virologists around the world were trying to map the spread of coronavirus in the animal world.

Coronavirus is a time bomb waiting to explode, when and somewhere around the world.

I just realized why Contagion the movie decided to choose coronavirus as the main virus in the story.

And Bill Gates already gave a warning about the global pandemic since years ago and decided to choose coronavirus as the scenario in Event 201.

Is it just a coincidence they choose coronavirus since SARS is very popular and it happened in China (worthy of anti-communist propaganda)?

Or it's based on the investigation of Bat Woman and approved by many scientists around the world?

While we were working, playing, and having fun in the last decade, these scientists were very worried.

Based on this, Contagion the movie was made and Event 201 was held.

Did you know the case of asymphonized coronavirus patients?

I think they are holding the key to this answer.

Maybe these asymphonized coronavirus patients have already existed for years or even decades.

Maybe their number is not big, that is why they were unnoticed.

And some people finally really get sick but misidentified as flu and pneumonia for years.

Bill Gates and all other researchers already knew how dangerous the coronavirus it can be. Even to the point of having a movie Contagion that is no doubt coincidence back in 2011 when it was made. This isn't anti-communist propaganda, its based on the fear of the virus and what if scenario. And if we had the virus in our bodies in our system for years and decades as you said, we be aware of it. It doesn't just pop out and kill like that. This virus don't wait for years as it spread to everybody.

And you have Chinese researchers themselves warning it could happen.

2. Why Study Bat Coronaviruses in China?
2.1. Coronavirus Taxonomy
Coronaviruses (CoVs) belong to the subfamily Orthocoronavirinae in the family Coronaviridae and the order Nidovirales. CoVs have an enveloped, crown-like viral particle from which they were named after. The CoV genome is a positive-sense, single-strand RNA (+ssRNA), 27–32 kb in size, which is the second largest of all RNA virus genomes. Typically, two thirds of the genomic RNA encodes for two large overlapping polyproteins, ORF1a and ORF1b, that are processed into the viral polymerase (RdRp) and other nonstructural proteins involved in RNA synthesis or host response modulation. The other third of the genome encodes for four structural proteins (spike (S), envelope (E), membrane (M), and nucleocapsid (N)) and other accessory proteins. While the ORF1a/ORF1b and the four structural proteins are relatively consistent, the length of the CoV genome is largely dependent on the number and size of accessory proteins [3].

Compared with other RNA viruses, the expanded genome size of CoVs is believed to be associated with increased replication fidelity, after acquiring genes encoding RNA-processing enzymes [4]. Genome expansion further facilitates the acquisition of genes encoding accessory proteins that are beneficial for CoVs to adapt to a specific host [5]. As a result, genome changes caused by recombination, gene interchange, and gene insertion or deletion are common among CoVs. The CoV subfamily is expanding rapidly, due to the application of next generation sequencing which has increased the detection and identification of new CoV species. As a result, CoV taxonomy is constantly changing. According to the latest International Committee of Taxonomy of Viruses (ICTV) classification, there are four genera (α-, β-, δ-, and γ-) consisting of thirty-eight unique species in the subfamily [6]. The number of species will continue to increase, as there are still many unclassified CoVs [7,8].

Scientific proof COVID-19 create by America

Documentary Proof: University of North Carolina Generated COVID-19
Documents below will show that research to create COVID 19 began in the United States in 2006 and culminated in a successful bio-weapon in 2015, with work done at the University of North Carolina and at Harvard and at the Food and Drug Administration’s lab in Arkansas.

Their work was titled:
A SARS-like cluster of circulating bat coronaviruses shows potential for human emergence

COVID 19 was a US Army bio-weapons project to manufacture a pneumonia-causing disease that would be nearly impossible to vaccinate for in patients over 40 years old.
The study was run by the University of North Carolina and funded by USAID/CIA. It chose a Chinese bat virus and chose to include a medical facility in Wuhan as well.
Now we know why, a smokescreen of the blame for a program China had little or nothing to do with, something satanically evil and purely American.

Scientific proof COVID-19 create by America, complete document
In February, I had a posted link in PDF about the debate in US about laboratory created coronavirus SARS in 2015. At today, I see your post and want to post that link here but when I read that article again, they had reedited the article. The way they do make them very suspicious to me why they have to twist the fact if they claim they are innocent. As a matter of fact, the US has the SARS virus from horse bat in their lab at least since 2015.
