Hmm..

You are referring to a country with proven ICBM tech, a leader in rocket propulsion, a leader in multi satellite deployment, have its own working satellite navigation, one of the largest scientific & technical talent pool, one of the top 10 economy.

If you believe, they are not capable of developing a mere 10k range ballistic missile, perhaps you are the moron.

There are private Asian companies on this planet that is capable of developing ICBM with nuclear payload.

Just jump off a bridge already.

. .
Surya name has been scraped...its agni series now.agni 6 mist probably is surya.
And congrats to one reviveing decades old thread...moronic butthurt.

. . . .
AFAIK Surya program has been merged with Agni-5. Next Agni upgrade or Agni 6 will have 10K + range. But that range will never be fully tested unless and until absolutely necessary.

Huh? We have our ICBM deployed. Its called Agni 5. According to Chinese its range is over 8500 KM.
Ready but NOT deployed. It will be deployed after test launch from Canister. Agni-5 will be deployed around mid 2018

It has been tested twice from canister. Last test was 1 year back. Fair to say that after 4 tests it has been inducted.

Nope. Induction is done in official ceremony. Some tweaking and modifications are planned. May be MIRV is also on table.

All are development tests. Operational tests ( user trials ) will follow them. Then induction

Usually, these details do not make to general public. What you see is a user practice test by selecting a random missile from a production lot. Which is when we say induction has been confirmed. In all likelyhood, induction is done.

Well it's up to you what you want to believe. I can't change that.
Current tests are development tests. You can pick up any sources and you can confirm that.
Once DRDO is done developing then end user in this case strategic command with do user tests. From those results induction is planned and then production begins
I rest my case

And yes induction is announced publicly. Last known induction is Bramos. Air launch version is still in tests and will be induced sometime in next 2/3 years
