Accountability is not "revenge", its cornerstone of democracy. The guilty will nevertheless make a hue and cry over it. The old Police are part of the problem for the last 70 years. Police are largely corrupt from top to bottom. Previous governments had their favorites installed at key positions so that they can protect their criminal activities. It is well-known fact that Hamza Sharif was appointing all DSP/SP/SSP, IGs etc personally. Many of the police bigwigs are favoring either PPP in Sind or PMLN in Punjab. PTI should get rid of all IGs and put capable and honest individuals and give them the task to check all high positions in their forces. Get a list of all promotions in the last 5 years and undue them where there has been a clear favoritism.
PMLN paid media hawkish goons spreading the fake news about PTI every second day.

Like I said before CJ should flex his muscles in reforming lower judiciary, its too incompetent not providing speedy justice,

Police in Pakistan also contribute to alot of problems in society as they are too corrupt especially in Punjab and Sindh, if the IG has not been performing his duties, I dont see a problem why he should be removed.

I think it is about time to put an end to this tom foolery. IK should talk to the stack-holders and tell them that they need to end this game or he will leave ... IK has nothing to lose so he should not stay hijacked by this system. Get the full support and put everyone in his/her place. Judiciary has no right to interfere into the govt day to day task. It is totally upto the political govt to transfer the bureaucrats.

He was acting all tough and hard like a bull's horn in opposition but in govt he has become too soft and mushy like a marshmallow. He should remember that if becomes weak, they will hit so he has to take control and tell this CJ and other stake holders that they should behave or he will resign and they can steer the sinking ship out the storm themselves. It is IK who is the last hope, otherwise this CJP is good for nothing...there is so much corruption in judiciary and the courts are releasing the terrorists convicted the military courts with death penalties so IK and COAS should sit together and decide otherwise it is of no use.

Abrupt transfer of police officers is not justifiable. Elected officials have no right to play games with the Police and grant key posts to officers who happen to be in their good books.
